Turbine Point Favor Rewards

The following chart depicts favor Rewards that are earned by achieving each tier for the first time on a server. These rewards can only be earned once per server.

Can this game actually be played with out spending a dime?

Yes, you can play this game for free it is just so time consuming to do so that most people will pay for content instead of grinding the favor system for TP to pay for content.

Let me crunch some numbers so you know what I say if true.

Currently there are 79 free to play quests in game. these quests provide 920 favor. That is enough favor to unlock Server favor up to the 4th tier which =150 TP do this on every server (7) and you get a total of 1050TP

Now Free quests will also give enough to earn you 225 TP through per character favor rewards. A f2p player gets 2 character slots on each server if you do this on every server you will get 2700 TP

Combine that with the 1050 we totaled earlier and you get 3750 TP, from grinding 100% free content. You can then use those TP to purchase adventure packs which you can then grind to earn more points.

Then of course there is the option of rerolling which can provide more TP which will only be limited by your willingness to keep rerolling.

This list will make my attempt to unlock-a-buncha-junk with my "how far can I get without paying" experiment much more fruitful! Plus, its very very nice to be able to alt+tab to a list of which missions can be run! Its horrible joining a group who say "Lets go run X", and not realizing you can't do it til you get to the mission door...

Question about "And the Dead shall Rise..." for F2Pers...

Supposedly this is a free-to-play quest. I found the quest giver, who had a bright shiny golden chalice icon over her head, indicating that the content is not restricted. Likewise I joined a group who had "And the Dead shall rise..." as their indicated quest, while having "hide content i don't own" checkbox checked...

And yet, the quest takes place in Deleras Graveyard, an area that is forbidden to me (and probably all other F2Pers). Does this mean that this quest is, infact, NOT free to play? Or am i missing something obvious about how to enter this quest?

EDIT: Ditto for the quest "From Beyond the Grave". Supposedly Free to Play, but takes place in Deleras Graveyard, which is restricted to free players (Without purchase of the Deleras Tomb module).

I was on Thelanis this morning posting LFM's for various quests checking to see if they would display the "Buy NOW" Tab in the LFM window. Both Quest in question did not feature the "Buy Now" Tab when displayed in the group window while I was on my free 2 play account.

I was under the impression that since Delera's Graveyard was a public area and not an instance, F2p player could access the area but not any premium adventures in the area. I could be wrong I have been out that way with my F2p character yet.

If those to quest are restricted I will updated the list and bug report the "Buy Now" tab LFM inaccuracy.

I am going to take my F2p account to there tonight to double check.

I currently have 250 TP. Which adventure pack would be the best one to unlock in terms of favor rewards (and low-level).
Also, I earned 14 favor while fooling around with a character, but received no mail informing me of the TP reward. How do I check mail. Or do I have to be a VIP?

Confirmed: a F2P character may not enter Delera's Graveyard unless it is purchased. Quests listed as F2P which are located in this zone are done so erroneously.

I believe the Catacombs will give around 100 favor on elite. Its a fun quest and apparently the XP has been upgraded a little for that quest line as well. If you wanted to save up a little more i would highly recommend Tangleroot Gorge. Great named loot for the level drops out there and the XP/favor is awesome. I think I will eventually work up Favor totals and quest names for each Adventure pack. but those are my suggestion off the top of my head.

Just checked those two quest You are correct they can not be accessed without buy Delera's tomb pack. They also still show no "Buy Now" tab in the LFM, so we most assuredly have a bug on our hands. I am going to Bug report I suggest you do as well.

I am working on something like this right now. I am not sure if I am going to go into so much detail as to provide a list of mobs (hobogolins,ogres, and spiders), but it will have level range, quest names and favor. I just Happen to finish Tangleroot which has 10 quest, 90 total favorand is for characters lvl 3-7.

I will be posting some write ups tomorrow. The rest of tonight will be spent actually playing the game.
