Greetings traveler,

First and foremost, I feel it is important for you to clearly understand who we are, what we value, and most importantly, how you might fit into our community. This guide was created for this very reason. So for now, sit back, relax, and allow me to walk you through the steps required to become a part of what we truly believe is the best online community (guild) around. The first thing to remember, above all else, we pride ourselves on being a rather mature community although most of our significant others may beg to differ. This organization is not interested in blasting through content just to be the 1st at anything. We, as one of our guild mates have stated, play these games to have fun, relax, decompress from work, and enjoy the content. Stopping to smell the flowers along the way is what we’re all about. Our community is very interested in how we might be able to leverage our Role-Playing talents and imaginations to enhance the gaming experience. Does this mean we are a hardcore role-playing community? Absolutely not, but we’re mature enough to respect the various playing styles of our members. Anything we can think of doing to make the experience more exciting and entertaining for the group, we’re all over it. Don't get me wrong... You'll find a few of us (quite few actually) that are very much interested in the elite end-game content as well...so brace yourself! hehe

We don’t endorse mass recruitment, or “blind recruiting” in any way, shape or form. Numbers, frankly, are far less important to us than the quality of the people around us. If you wish to enter our stronghold and become one, with the Order of the Silver Dragons, we welcome you to continue reading these scrolls in order to familiarize yourself with our culture and our laws.

I believe the most critical thing I can tell you at this point is that we value our online community. Communication is key. Our online forums are the core and heart of this organization. Your contributions there are how we measure your worth. There will be a day, a time, an age, when this game, or that, will fade away into oblivion but as we see it, the Order will remain… This is not just a “Gaming Guild” you are joining friend, it is a community of peers, and we’re a family.

Birth: Our community was born during the pre-release phase of DDO. Our online community was founded January 9th 2006. We've been around for some time now and have a very strong circle of regulars. Our doors are always open for new and friendly faces.

When you arrive to our site... Click the VERY large recruitment button (you can't miss it). Take the time to read the introduction thread (not just the first post). The entire thread will walk you through the recruitment process, which is rather painless...but there's important things you should know before joining (the devil is in the details). If you miss a step, you'll be ignored most likely....not because we're snobs... but because you'll simply get lost in the shuffle.

Gotta new crop of lower level alts coming out to play, so if you're a newer player we can help ya out teaching you the ropes and such.

We've got 3-4 scheduled lower level runs coming up during the week and weekend.

Hey guys what happened to it, I go on when I get home to look at stuff and bam it says I am forbidden from seeing this site, but has no real reason, I think it was hacked but who would want to do that?

Hi Guys,
Sure pays to have people who get up early in the guild. Looks like I e mailed Sook about it 13 minutes after we were hacked.

My question is how bad was it?

But reading the "Greetings traveler" quote from the site still makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

LOL, you do get up early, well i went to it, and Sook has the site back and said i t should be back up this weekend at the latest after he makes some security installments, I just want to know how much they accessed and what they did to it, and letemplar do you have a copy of the message they typed in?

Lol stupid people, they truly dont know how to hack a site, well they did in a sense but only for a couple hours, Ive been back on and it all looks fine except for the font as sook posted somewhere, is smaller than normal. looks like we are back up now no need to post here anymore.

lol, well we have some raid events this weekend and next weekend i do believe, this friday is an elite VoN 1-4, levels 11-14 and sunday is a VoN 4 run levels 8-11 to finish the preraid for the people who didnt finish it last weekend. Next friday the 28 is the actual raid levels 11-14 and the other one wont be for atleast a week after that one so people can get ready for it if they want to come.

Another weekly lowbie run led by Syrbyce...Thanks for setting this up Syr!!

In attendance we had Zavrus (Xavros), Squidgie (Bee), Capnjack (Aubie), Brycene (Another Syrbyce female alt...lol), Draygen (GuitarHero), and Soik (Sook)!!

It's always fun doing these runs with you guys... Easy going and steady... Doing the right things... Staying alive (for the most part)... And laughing all the way through it. I had a blast and enjoyed the session. There's a lot to be said for logging in and immediately grouping to fulfill a scheduled event... I loved it.

That said... I encourage all of you folks to take advantage of the Calendar, Event Forum and RSVP capabilities. Check if there's an event you would like to join, RSVP and get your name up there... If not, create an event and promote it within the community.
