Default Known Issues: Module 5: The Accursed Ascension

The following are known issues with Module 5: The Accursed Ascension, which we hope to fix in an upcoming update.
  • Remember, that just like wearing loose articles on a roller coaster can be dangerous, it may also be unsafe to do so during a recall out of raids. When attempting to guide your team mate across the chasm in the 2nd puzzle room of the raid, please be sure to remove your goggles before recalling after failure or success, as recalling with the goggles equipped could cause your party to become stuck during the loading screen. Should you become effected by this, please log in with a different character, and contact in-game support using the "?" button for assistance. This issue should be fixed in an upcoming patch.
  • If you're already queuing to PVP using the standard match-up process, and your party chooses to use the new Group PVP functionality instead, your UI may not update to reflect the change. (i.e: It will still appear as if you're queued and waiting for a match-up)
  • All existing Mauls and all Mauls created in the future will have a x3 critical hit multiplier, EXCEPT +2 Mauls, which are incorrectly being ranted x2.
  • One of the traps in Foundation of Discord cannot be disabled by its control box.
  • When a player wins an auction in-game mail is sent to the player that won the auction and the player that posted the auction. The player who posted the auction gets the mail with their winnings attached, but when they detach the money, the mail is not auto deleted. The mail can be manually deleted just fine, but when the player tries to open the mail again, an in-game error message pops up stating: "An internal error has occured" the mail is readable and deleteable still, but this message will appear everytime the mail is opened.
  • Due to an issue with the engine upgrade, other player's characters may appear to be "choppy" in movement at times. This does not effect your own character, only other characters you are viewing.
  • If you have not recieved your 9th character slot, you may need to go talk to NYX to unlock it.
  • When examining an item, the full description of effects are not shown automatically. To see description of effects, you'll need to hover over the effect name. (See Figure 1, below.)
  • When breaking a crate or barrel, you or your friend(s) may hear the sarcofogus sound effect.
  • We have learned of an issue that if you have abandoned the Raid quest in Module 5, you will not be able to obtain the quest again from the NPC. (See below for more info)
  • NEW - We are aware of an issue with the Gatekeeper in Gianthold Tor arising prematurely. (See below for more info)

We have learned of an issue that if you have abandoned the Raid quest in Module 5, you will not be able to obtain the quest again from the NPC.

For example, if you complete the Abbot raid, wait for your 3 day timer to expire, abandon the quest to remove it from your list, and then talk to the NPC again, he will have nothing to say to you.

We're working on a solution for this issue and apologize for the inconvenience.

Default Gianthold Tor

NEW - We are aware of an issue with the Gatekeeper in Gianthold Tor arising prematurely.

The Gatekeeper happens to dislike pets, so it is important to keep your pets and charmed monsters out of his sight, and away from his area, to avoid him rising before you've awakened him.

UPDATED:

Should you find the Gatekeeper arising prior to completing the side rooms, you will be unable to complete the side rooms.

We are working to teach the Gatekeeper to have a tolerance for pets to avoid the problem. Anyone experiencing the phenomenon without pets/charmed monsters is encouraged to submit a bug reporting.
