Hello all, I would like to introduce our guild the Storm Riders (formerly of Aundair) to all of you... we are recruiting all classes
we are currently looking to grow our numbers and add some good people who like to have a good time. we stress playing the character you want to play, not just the most powerful build....all builds welcomed...
we try to do about everyquest and have fun, not just the most popular ones, we try to get all guild groups but welcome pugs...
we welcome battleclerics, dwarven bards, necromancers, etc.... we believe any build can be sucessful as long as you play smart....one thing we stress is that each player be as independant as possible, i.e. useing healing potions, resist pots, barkskins...anything we can do to help out the group, especially the cleric....
we are very cleric friendly, we keep our clerics supplied with wands and plat,
and we do not expect healbots from our clerics, clerics are more than that, we love soundbursts, flamestrikes, and cometfalls, etc..
we try to get members to have at least one healer character so we can take turns be "main" healer, not healbot...just to help out with most of the healing, since the party is usually pretty self sufficent (see above)
sorry for the long post, but i think it describes us, hope to see you all in game
we are currently on a recruiting drive to try to get some of the new people in the game going and help the more casual players on
Khyber who are guildless find a home.....
After coming back to DDO after a year off, i've been looking for a good guild to join. I ran a few quests with the Storm Riders last night to see if they were a good match for me. After a few minutes Ameron sent me an invite and it was an easy decision to accept. The Storm Riders are fun, laid back, knowledgeable about the game, and willing to help an old noob out. Also very friendly and helpful towards new players from what I saw in guild chat. Had a great time last night and look forward to many more to come. Thanks for having me, Storm Riders!

Hi, I just got into DDO around the 13th of July and have a Toon on Khyber named Siggur Razorclaw, Cl 3 Ftr 1.
Haven't been playing for very long but I pen & papered for 20 years, about 2 years 3.5 edition. Really like the
rules and similarites, made it much simpler to play.
I read your post and would like to talk to you in the game, check out my character and see if I'd fit it your
guild. I love playing a cleric and have no prob using my potions and wands to keep the party alive. One thing
I learned after 20 years of gaming, if the party stays alive then I stay alive. Much more fun than a party wipe.
I'ts amazing to me how courteous most players are when you bring em back off the floor with a quick heal
before they die. I never expected all the thank you's, but it makes it worthwhile to be appreciated.
Char's name is Siggur Razorclaw, check me out if you want, I like what you had to say in your post.
I just created a new toon on Khyber, this past weekend. I am not completely new to DDO, although I did take several months off, while I was working two jobs and just did not have the time to play. Now I am getting back into the game, and would definitely like to get with a good guild, so I can learn the ins-and-outs of surviving some of the quests.
Your description of the guild sounds perfect to me. I am not necessarily into trying to create the uber build for my toons, but prefer to just mix things up a bit and come up with one that will be fun, and perhaps somewhat challenging to play. My current toon is a dwarven wizard named Guinnesss Extrastout. I would most definitely like an invite into Storm Riders, if you care to send me one. I will keep an eye out for you whenever I am on Khyber.
absolutely, we'll look you up....I have a dwarven wizard myself......I'll be on tonight around 9pm, or you can look for any of us on anytime.....we'll see ya soon
Thank you to all the Stormriders I ran with yesterday, you guys accepted me real quick and I
didn't even have to jump through hoops, much appreciated. Had a blast even though me and
a veteran guildy ran duo through a couple hard quests and spent a lot of time running back
from the inn, good lord next time we should take a couple more members with us! I couldn't
spend the SP or items fast enough to keep us alive.
But it was great, really looking forward to running with all of you soon.
All Respect
Siggur Razorclaw
By the way I went AFK for awhile cause of the real world and when I came back some
jackleg shot me a tell, that said "Hi, F&#$! You!"
What is that man? I thought stuff like that was reserved for the atrocious RW.
our whole party got sent spam tells like that.....they were using anynous names.......you could just /squelch name I believe
again ,welcome....sometimes 2 maning a quest and dieing a little is more fun than a full out zerg.....I think you guys were a little low for the quests you were doing at that lvl.....but hey, it happens.....see ya later on
xanvar, bigchunk or baston would be happy to run with you guys who knows maybe they would fit into the guild

We need to organize some more giant hold stuff. That place is a blast hit 12 with Bigchunk and getting close to that elusive 1750 favor. I never blame party wipes on the rogue everyone knows its the sorc fault.
