Here's a small list of pieces of advice to help make transactions go smoothly.
  • The prices are listed in my bio. Please familiarise yourself with them.

  • The prices are in PLAT. 6300gp for 100 CSW Pots would be a bargain indeed. My haggle is not quite there yet to be offering those prices.

  • I'm not a mind reader. Sending a tell with 'Heals and Res' and expecting me to know that you want 2 x Stacks of Heals and 30 x Resurrection is not realistic. Send a tell with exactly what you want and if you can, work out the total before you send it.

  • Inventory space. Please make sure you have enough room to make the trade before you make the order.

  • Mail orders. If you're going to place a mail order, please ensure your mail box can handle it. There's nothing worse than going through the process only having the item bounce back and wasting the mail charges.

  • Delete the original zero. If you add 1350 in front of the original zero to make it 13500, it will bug and reduce to 13.

  • Put the amount in promptly. I'm often questing on my other account and sometimes it seems to take forever for the other person to hit the accept button.

  • Don't ask for, demand or expect a discount. You'll probably get offended by my response.

  • If I can't buy it from a vendor, I don't sell it. That includes, Mnemonic Potions, Rings of the Djinn, nice Khopesh's, GH Relics etc.

Discounts are covered at point 7. Send me 100 Silver Bowls/Ritual Athames and I might reconsider.

If I were to say put in a special order for maybe a dozen Repair Serious Wands... is this something your ordering system could handle? My poor WF is going broke buying them on the spot market at your competitors.

The dreaded special order.

I have been known to do the odd special order, but only under special circumstances.

1) You need to buy in bulk and the item needs to be of sufficient value. Remove Fear pots are worth 50gp base. I don't care how many you want, I'm not buying them for you.

2) You need to be at the place of purchase to pay and collect on the spot.

3) I need to have the space or you need to be trustworthy to hold stock. I use all 100 slots for stock and I don't let stock get too low.

4) I have to be sufficiently idle to spend the time to get it done.

Send me a tell when you're online, and I'll let you know if I can help you. I'll do my best.

Someone needs to get all savvy and write some programs/macros that can do all this stuff. Asheron's call was full of tradebot programs. But i haven't read the TOS so i have no idea if they are allowed in here. o well, if not they should be and make the world a better place.

To be honest, I rarely look at guild names of the shoppers. We lowered the prices and put everyone onto the same price, eliminating the guild discount program.

If you think 13,500pp is too dear for heal scrolls, I don't know what more I can do.

For there to be a "special handling charge" would likely still come out cheaper than my 6 Cha Battle Frog could ever get those @#$% to sell them to him (if only he could use his Axe as a haggle tool....).

They should be free! Ok, maybe not.

In all seriousness, I think Riot's post was tongue in cheek.

You are running a business here and you want the customers to be the cash register.

I wonder how many tells you get that say sorry I'm drunk, could you add it up for me?

Gtar is less tolerant of tomfoolery than Qwijy. Of course, Qwijy ran off to another location, "looking for new business" (vacation... lazy bum).

You know, I was going to do something like this (you can use some external programs to handle the macros, if you're clever). My worries were that I'd forget some hole and someone would exploit the **** out of QwijyMart before I discovered the problem

Ok. What's the name of the character? It's 1am and I'm tired. When I do my next trip to house J, I'll get 12 wands for you and stick them in the post for you.
