DDO 3rd Anniversary Video Nominations: Final Week!
Nominations are now open for week 4! We’re looking for videos that celebrate the DDO 3rd Anniversary! The video can involve music or a funny skit or just anything that celebrates the good times of DDO!
Remember that this is the final week to nominate a video! To nominate a video, post the link to the video here, and we'll check it out (don't forget to include the credits)! This thread will be open until next Monday, when we'll select our favorite from this week. Remember that in a final vote, the Community will help us to select which video to spotlight on DDO.com! Entrants are encouraged to upload their videos to the DDO page on Facebook and share them with other DDO fans! Although videos hosted on YouTube or Google Video are also welcome, videos on Facebook will receive priority consideration. We can't wait to see the great DDO Anniversary videos from our fans! This video is common with Hitler/Downfall subtitle Internet fad, and has been revised to be family-friendly (somewhat).
It features Hitler going ape after his hailed PUG attempt. It offers drama with dark satirical comedy, aimed at capped DDO players. It can be viewed via the following URL: http://www.overstream.net/view.php?oid=snsbudl7a6lc Warning: The situations portrayed are artificially critical and abusive (we're talking about Hitler you know), and are not directed at any individual person. The names used are based upon what is said in the video (in German), and not linked to any particular player. The attitudes of the Hitler character portrayed in this video do not reflect my own. Gary Gygax Remembered On Sarlona Videos
I DID NOT CREATE THESE VIDS BUT I WAS THE HOST OF THE EVENT
These two were filmed March 4th 2008 the day Gary Ernest Gygax 1938- 2008 passed. I think they represent what makes DDO's Player base soo unique. For those of you who dont know Gary Gygax was, he was the creator of the original D and D often called pen and paper.
