Default Super Secret = Eberron Unlimited?
So after a weird bug after updating Firefox, I lost all of my bookmarks and went into the history folder to get some of the webpages back and noticed that the DDO page was listed as "Dungeons and Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited". As I'd never seen that before I checked over the webpage and noticed at the very bottom the copyright has changed from this:

Notice there is no mention of Stormreach in the new copyright, so perhaps "Vast and Mysterious" is going to be us getting a more open world with more of Xen'drik to play around in. Of course there is a distinct possibility I missed something, www.archive.org only has DDO pages through September of '07 so hard to say for sure. Interesting to me nonetheless..

Someone was spending way too much time watching tv, that Justice League Unlimited name stuck in their head, and...

Well, I just hope that we're not going to be doing "get five hundred bat wings" sorts of quests out at large.

i do. it's better than just having the shroud to do.


I hope we start getting random mob spawns and stuff just so it's not always the same.

ESRB has a listing for Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited. Teen rating, Atari publishing Windows PC. May turn out to be another Forsaken Lands but who knows.

edit: Or a repackaging/rerelease of DDO.

Considering most of the endgame, and at least half of the total quests, are outside of stormreach, maybe the devs decided that "DDO: Stormreach" just wasn't right anymore.

If I was to spend maybe a year of dev time while normal updates slowly leaked out and created a new random scaled quest encounter system in my land of Eberron so players might stop complaining about new content a little... I might call it Eberron Unlimited.

To me... that's the best thing Vast and Mysterious could be. You know... something like they added to NWN. Though I guess if it was instead a new Expansion that could be marketed by Turbine (possibly Atari) on a new continent... that might be good too... but not quite as Unlimited.

It is not a cache that is different from what is up on the home page now? Not sure what the goof up is??? It looks like just a background setting description for the game, not a "what is to come" type of thing.
