DDO Dictionary Spell Trigger Item
Definition: A magic item (such as a wand) that produces a particular spell effect. Any spellcaster whose class spell list includes a particular spell knows how to use a spell trigger item that duplicates it, regardless of whether the character knows (or could know) that spell at the time.

This Week's Question, Tolero asks:
Would there be any interest in a spoiler tag function for the forums? A spoiler tag would allow posters to hide spoiler-y text with a simple bbcode tag, and would not be shown to the user unless they opted to see it.

Borror0 says: Tolero, the correct question is: why don't we have a spoiler tag yet?

Big-Dex says: Absolutely for spoiler tags. Employ them ... especially if you are going to keep Llamannia posts mingled with the live server forum. Even if Llamannia got a segregated forum, it still would be beneficial to have spoiler tags. The real question is how many would take the time to use them???

First, the bankers have the keys to my bank account and YOUR bank account. Think of the possibilities.

The Cube does not understand how this feature will enhance the community's ability to successfully Cube worship. Please rephrase the question.

every week I keep checking to see if the new mod is available to play, and every week there is no news as to when exactly it will available on live.........

On a plus note SWG's new content is live and City of Heroes is free this weekend,
and more importantly the Broken Steel content for Fallout 3 is avail in 3 days on the 5th, yay

With all those expansions and new content available at once, I was positive that DDO would make me choose what I wanted to play this weekend.

"Spell Trigger Item"... Uh? I've *never* heard this before. We talk about wands, clickies and scrolls, and we need this distinction because they all have different rules to be used. The one described in this post is the one for wands only... so I think this entry is likely to confuse more than help people!

With the beta server going down today until a new preview is available, does that mean more testing for mod 9 or is mod 9 being set for today and the new preview would be for mod 10 sometime later?

more mod 9, because it is the story that never ends. mod 10 will be christmas 2010.

They're just slowly transitioning us to the once a year mod schedule. The promised Mod 9 has been labeled as coming: around the new year (2009), around the 3rd anniversary, this spring... and soon to be this summer or this year (2009)....

I am not a big drinker, but I dabble with tequila and cheap wine and get heckled for it. But considering I drink black coffee cold a lot I am used to the jeers of others when drinking the stuff
