He is put info people are posting there in to a chart so anyone looking for a sigil can easily find where they are known to have previously dropped

5-8 sigil Cerulean hills. Rescuing lady what's her name. I was level 3 at the time quest was run on normal.

#1 best place to find sigils in my mind would be




Tempest Spine with a full group on normal hard or elite depending which you want. Ill test it tonight.

As far as I am aware sigil only drop as quest rewards and not as chest lot.

Correct, Sigils only come as end rewards. Entirely random.

Copper sigil as end reward on Dirk's quest. Was level 2 and did on solo difficulty.

Silver sigil as end reward on The Depths of Doom. Was level 6 and did on normal difficulty.

Bought Gold sigil when a few thousand xp from level 13. No luck in finding this one as a reward.

This cant be true because the first sigil I ever saw (not my pull mind you) was in the chest of the named reaver who pops just before the last portal near the shrines on the way to the hound.

Guy in group pulled one and had no idea what it was for till we explained it to him.

Ran storehouse 15 times on level 12 wiz for gold, no drops in end reward. just rugged belts..

Copper sigil at end of Waterworks, with a whole pile of other named items (Widow Bracers, names weapons, named armors, some jewelry... all of which i wanted but couldn't take cause the copper sigil was more important !)

I got to one rank away from level 5, and hadn't found a sigil yet. So I just started speed-running "Durk's Got A Secret" on Solo difficulty over and over. He rewarded me with the copper sigil after my 8th run through. (Also got a Muckbane that way, so it was a good place to grind for the sigil.)

Copper Sigil: Not once, but twice doing "Recovering the Lost Tome" on Hard mode, solo.

Silver Sigil: I gave up and bought it.

you will never get one in Korthos.

At one point during the beta, they dropped frequently in Korthos. You were pretty much guaranteed to get the copper one. Then they changed it. Why? I don't know but near the end of the beta test this was the case: absolutely no chance of getting a sigil in Korthos and this was the version that went live.

I recommend going straight to the Harbor or Marketplace and doing things like Durk's Got a Secret or the Kobolds' New Ringleader until you get one, then go back to Korthos and do those quests.

i dropped an other copper sigil in WW elite


from the look of the first answers:

- durk got a secret and WW seems to be "good" for copper one
- you cant get sigil from khortos (this seems to be obvious but many people lie about it), and probably not from a chest (but this may have been the case before)
- none else got a silver one, i had to farm like crazy for this one, i would probably have bought it if I did not have reasons for stop leveling.

You know, in Beta Korthos quests had a good chance to drop Sigils.... A very good chance actually. I have yet to get one there yet though. Weird why they would change something like that, but it looks like they did, or I am just super un-lucky.
