Experience is a plus, but not required-we will gladly work with you if you’re the right fit for our group. Please feel free to follow up with any of our officers for information.

For those that remember, several member of League of Extraordinary Ham are former members and officers of Kill To Live. Same laid back attitude of having fun above anything else in game. And we try, much to Khyber's dismay, to avoid drama.

Probably some of the most fun and successful questing I've had in this game.

We may have a wipe here and there but it's always entertaining, and nothing like going back in with the same group of people and schooling the quest after a wipe, just to remind it we're there to have fun and win.

Over the busy summer break our guild has lost a few players. We would sure love to pick up a few more as we enter the fall. Feel free to drop any of us a line or inquire with any of our players.

New players and Transplants-as well as experienced gamers are all welcome-we are very casual and laid back.

We're a patient group and willing to teach new players...or at least act like we are while making complete fools of ourselves.

Default 2 newbies looking for a guild

    Greetings,
My wife and I have recently join DDO. We are both next to clueless about DDO and are looking for a guild that is tolerant of new players and does not take offence at very casual play.

    Our play style:
When I say casual, I mean that we play only 3-4 times a week, and due to our RL responsibilities often have to interrupt our sessions with minor errands, eating, chores - so in a gaming session we may tackle a single quest and take several breaks during it. When we started playing last week, our goal was to see how much of the game content we could duo. We are trying to do every quest at least once, with all optional objectives and usually try to play slow-but-sure: she plays a rogue, i am a wizard. We always try to do the whole scout/plan attack thing as we progress through a quest and use hirelings to compensate for our low skill/knowledge. Since usually I have more time/will to play, I will sometimes use her rogue as a trap/lock/extra-hireling bot for an easier quest.

    Game participation:

We don't group with other people, due to the above mentioned need for breaks, as well as the fact that at our current level of skill we are having a hard enough time coordinating our actions and hirelings between the two us while we are in same room, let enough adding chat to the picture. 90% of the time our chat boxes are on combat tab.
We may start trying to group later if we find people with a similar approach to game content, and if we ever manage to start outperforming our hirelings so as not to be an aggravation to the players who don't like to die because of silly mistakes every 10 minutes... but from the look of things, that won't be in the near future.

    Looking for:

We are looking for a guild which we would mostly exploit for newbie advice and ability to use equipment with guild level requirements. One where members wouldn't take offence at us staying on the sidelines of guild events, and doing our own thing at our own pace. It would be nice to be part of a community, even if it's a vestigial part for now, and perhaps later as we get better at the game, if time allows, we could participate at least in some guild groups and events.

Given all of the above would we fit in with the League?

First off-Thank you for your interest in our Guild and welcome to DDO!

We always love getting to know new players!

Second-from reading what you are looking for from a Guild-I think we provide an atmosphere that you would feel very comfortable with. We are very laid back and allow players to do their own thing or group together as they like. I would say a majority of our players have the same RL stuff that keeps them in and out of game-so we totally understand.

There are a number of dynamics in our Guild-many players new and old from East Coast and West Coast. There are a number of "Static" groups and Husband-Wife teams that adventure through out TR focus and/or 28-32 point builds.

Please feel free to surf our site for further reference or if you would like to group up with us or like an invite just PM me for assistance.

Again, welcome and we hope you have a great time in your future adventures!

If I can ever get the game installed and working again, I may look into this. I highly doubt my former guild is in the game any longer, and it has been -forever- since I have played.

I have a decently geared 20 monk and some toons I probably would never play again, lol.

    Consider this post tagged.
