When not making horrible creatures (like that happens often!), Mentau the Fleshmaker's hobby is baking, especially cookies. In fact, some even find their way into the Festivult Jester's cookie bag. They're quite yummy!

It's just a guess but given that he is in a place called "the orchard" perhaps picking fruit and making jams and jellies out of said fruit? After all, you have to give your undead minions something to do when they aren't trying to invade Stormreach.
