Are you sure that's what way of the toirtoise doesn't stack with? It certainly gives me a hp boost on my 16/2/2 bladeforged monk/fighter/wiz, with 2 primal pastlives.

P.s. You pass the entry criteria for a shroud pug.

If you roll up a new level 4 monk, you'll see that you get the extra 5 HP showing as an Enchanted bonus at level 3 exactly as expected. Gear I can remove to verify, so the only Enchanted Bonus that I couldn't remove is the Primal Past Life Feats.

So while I can't say 100% that it's the Primal Past Life that's causing the problem, I can say with 100% certainty that I'm not getting the extra 5 HP I expect on my main with the Primal Past Lives

If the goal here is simply bragging rights for max HPs, well, okay then. But 12 extra Toughnesses are "only" worth about 500 HPs (12 * 30 * 1.44 = 518.4 HPs, to be precise); or about 15.5% of his total HPs. Giving up all of one's DPS feats - not to mention the extra PRR+MRR from SM+ISM+LSM - seems a bit much. Considering he would still have ~2,800 HPs, I think he would still be okay.

Congrats! I know there are haters, and I know it's debatable but... to each their own! I personally love HP so this is pretty nice to see. How's the DPS (serious Q)? EH viable?

Yeah I count 15 total feats including ED feats. So 13 toughnesses and 1 epic toughness is 14 accounted for. I gotta ask OP, what did you take for the 15th feat? I'm just curious.

Grats on getting insanely high HP.

EDIT: I guess that would be the fighter feat that was not spent on toughness since it doesn't count as a fighter bonus feat.

That's why having visible hp, but not visible dps is a bad thing. People build gimps and think it's a reason to show off, then people know don't know better follow the example.

No offense to the OP as this is far from the first 'max hp' build.

Given that this thread is remarkably similar in title, format, and even style of data dissemination to this thread here, https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...oints-Unbuffed

We can only assume Quijonn intended the same thing. He was probably also sick of seeing 400 HP gimps running around in EE and posted his HP breakdown to help players make better build decisions about their characters. Kudos for doing a much better job of it than I did. It is as much a HP catalog for new players to consider and draw inspiration from as it is bragging rights.

Leveling to 28 was a lot easier this life than others I've done. When in Divine Crusader tree, you have no problem with your DPS.

Obviously if you focus your build entirely on one aspect then you won't be optimal in other areas, but only an idiot wouldn't realise that and I'm sure you're not an idiot.

EE'd all the way to 28. Not the highest DPS build I've ever done but more than pulls his weight in a party. From 23 onwards he made up about 50% of the kills - not that that's really a measure of anything but it's one that means something to someone I'm sure.

Had open newbie friendly EE LFM's for most of the Epic journey and was a refreshing change - especially amusing to hear from the 296 HP level 26 rogue who died repeatedly in every quest of the Spinners chain and when offered some advice that you need more HP for EE replied with "I'll do what I want" - which is true but he won't be doing what he wants in any LFM I put up any time soon ... oh and the one-shot bard in EE VON5 who died every few minutes and then told everyone that he didn't rely on HP to stay alive as he relied on skill instead .... let's just say he was lacking in both

That's right - Bastard Sword proficiency so I could have fun with my Ruby of Endless Night slotted Nightmare.

I've done more than a few lives and more than a few builds. So I can say with some certainty that it's not a gimp build either

If you don't understand why people put builds together to obtain a high number in one aspect or another then this and other threads like it won't be of any interest to you. For those of us who have been around the clock more than once, it's as much an academic exercise as just something different to do to help avoid monotony.

It's definitely not the first 'max hp' build ... and it won't be the last either But it's the highest number that I could get and I can't see a way to boost it with the current gear we have and the level cap at 28. When new gear comes along or the level cap is raised then someone will beat it for sure.

    Obviously great minds think alike

It started as a theoretical exercise then I thought "what the hell" and decided to TR into it and level it to 28 to see how it played out. Nowhere near as gimp as the uninitiated might think, but then I do have a fair amount of good gear to choose from and try not to be a headless chicken when I'm questing.

The big motivator for doing it was to beat Turbine devs up through the Player Council on the difficulty of being able to reconcile Character Sheet information back to equipment/feats/enhancements. The need for a revamp of the Character Sheet is a bit of a pet topic of mine - whether it's HP, SP, saves or attributes what we have right now in terms of being able to easily work out where we are getting our numbers from is inadequate. I mean, I'm all for people analysing their builds in spreadsheets but that's not everyone's idea of fun.

That's some serious hit points you have there.

I ran with Quijonn a few weeks ago in an at level short-man Elite Reavers Fate.

If I remember correctly he had in excess of 1100HPs then when my Pally was in the 400's (possibly high 300's).

More importantly he's also a nice bloke with no trace of Elitism and even took the time to guide me through the spikes to show me the lever position.

Edit added to address Monkey-boys video request.

Having ran though Elite GH, Tor and Reavers with him I can say hes not a one trick pony HP monster. He can definately hit things as well.
