*** The additional 5 HP at Monk level 3 is bugged, does not stack with Primal Past Life
**** 26 points spent in Sacred Defender tree, but Core Abilities do not grant 1 HP

If Way of the Patient Tortoise gave the additional 5 HP and the Core Abilities gave the 1 HP per point spent in the tree, total would be 3415 HP.

Special note of thanks to Theolin for pointing my old build to Wizard for an extra 24 HP, was eventually able to squeeze an extra 55 HP out of it.

Why greater stalwart trinket and not epic litany?
I see why you went 3 wiz and 4 monk... you wanted the constitution

Thirteen toughness feats = not worth playing.

    Nice theorycraft though.

Levelled it to 28 on Elite and EE without any issues. See previous thread for similar comments and replies.

With paladin, you get negative levels and a lower CON contribution to your overall HP - tried it before I posted the first build up

While I agree with you that the 13 Toughness feats does limit combat feats on this type of character, it is an interesting approach at solving the self healing problem that many melee characters have to contend with.

With the constitution of 72 it also opens up the option of Throw Your Weight with Axes, Picks, Hammers.

From what I read based on his last post was that the OP actually plays this character and it is not just a theory.

The HP are impressive, I will admit that I personally would not take this approach but it is fun to see others pushing the DDO character building paradigm.

    This is sick.
I imagine healing yourself was strange at first, Seeing your HP at 1/3rd and still having 1200 HP left to fall back on before needing to bother to throw a heal on yourself. lol

One or two Amazing thing is, no negative comments ingame from the people that quest with me as we cruise through quests having a bit of fun and slaughtering mobs with impunity .... but then you come to the forums and you get a few of the standard replies that you know you will get from people who make massive assumptions and see the world through grey tinted glasses I think part of the general ignorance comes from the fact that we've gone a few years without real tanks and they've now viable again - this build was never to be the best tank, there are better enhancements and feat choices for that obviously - as you know yourself, when you just refuse to die it does add a bit of fun to your gaming

That surprises me. On my paladin, even with the "negative level", I end up with more hit points wearing the litany than not.

    31 x 28 = 868
    32 x 27 = 864

So together with the loss from not being able to wear the Greater Stalwart, that's a combined loss of 14 HP.

I waited until I'd done my 20th Mark of Death to try the Epic Litany before posting just incase there was a way around it - with the Heroic Litany you can remove the Taint of Evil but there's no such option with the Epic Litany.

    I figured it out now.

If your con bonus is lower than 27 (64 CON) you will gain hitpoints with the epic litany, higher than that and you will lose hitpoints.
