What the HCL really needs more than anything is
some kind of rewards for persistence.
For the players that will spend the entire HCL playing it
and still not get all the possible prizes.
The elite HC players will be in and out in 2 weeks or less with
all the prizes ... so this is not for them.
Congrats, you beat the game have fun.
I would really like to see 2 more prize tiers.
Specifically geared towards new players, casual players
and the few HC players that actually stick around a while.
One should be based on the number of days (minimum 30 minutes of dungeon play)
a player logs into HCL and plays. Doesn't matter how well they do or
how many times they die. Show up AND play --- get rewarded.
One prize for x amount of days, A higher prize for 2x number of days.
Anyone can earn them by showing up and playing on a regular basis.
(account based)
The second one should be solely based on the number of creatures killed at your
level or higher. This would be a character based award. It is aimed at the casual
players (and above) and solo players because not everyone is into Reaper levels.
Just kill enough stuff your level or higher (and don't die) to win these
Awards should also be 2 tiers of prizes, based on the number of kills >>> YOU DO <<<
ya, that is the catch. If your in a party and you don't kill nothing,
then you don't get nothing. You, your pets or your personal summons count - nothing else counts.
DISCLAIMER - these two new prize sets are in addition to current prizes,
not replacements for them. Any player can earn them but they will (usually)
take some time to complete. Even a noob playing nothing but normal difficulty
can manage it if they are persistent.
Have a nice day
