D&D just really isn't leveraging mimics properly, or sufficiently. Outside of the festival, we only have worry about a few quests' chests being a mimic - and it's always a chest.

Thing is, mimic's shapeshift covers a lot of forms - we should be wary of doors, cabinets, shelves, kegs, suspiciously still svirfneblin. Put a 0.1% chance on anything we click deciding to dent~ify as looter, not lootee. If not regularily, at least during the festival.

Sooo... couldn't find a certain gold seal hireling on any of my characters. Not even with repeated systemic checks. Maybe I threw it out, maybe it had been on a char that was deleted without checking. Maybe the item didn't even redeem - I don't recall ever actually using it.

Fine. Just for the fun of it, we'll file a ticket.

...oops? No wonder never found it - I hadn't even opened the box.
Turns out had redeemed the PAXWEST code during the hellish server migrations. As most of my characters were packed, frozen in limbo for four months, I wasn't actively playing. I had just redeemed the coupon and logged off. Hadn't even bothered to open it, probably undecided who would get the Huge Bag.

15/10 customer service.
I'd have let my own moronic butt suffer from my lazy stupidity =D

Check character pack list... the pretransfer guild name is there

Almost four months now - No character, no guild, no account storage, no response, no compensation. Wonderful transfer going on here. 0/10 'Would not recommend' again.
