    What are somethings that would increase your goodwill towards the game?

    If they fixed lag (and kept it fixed) and gave me the new Night Revels mount to compensate my lost play time, I'd call it even. I would have spent a lot of my play time for the last week running Night Revels anyway, so - in my specific case - that seems fair.

    @Devs Please extend Night Revels

    Under the assumption that the devs are correct (or, if not, that they can fix lag caused by Night Revels), it seems unfair to not extend it to give people who can't run it right now due to crippling lag more chance to do so.

    @Devs Please extend Night Revels

    It's not shut down.

    @Devs Please extend Night Revels

    They said Night Revels is not the cause of the new massive lag.

    @Devs Please extend Night Revels

    Once lag has been addressed, please extend Night Revels. I've barely been able to collect any ingredients due to the crippling lag.

    Setting new records in stubborness

    At this point, I'd considering paying for super-VIP if it was everything VIP gives you + no lag.

    It depends how it's implemented and, also, whether or not the copied text goes into the Windows clipboard, or into DDO-specific storage. The latter would be easy to test.

    Night Revels materials confusion

    Or just make them disappear from inventories. I'm a bit of an in-game hoarder and keep a couple expired versions since they have a different name, but I would cope if they were deleted from my inventory. It'd be a bit like an intervention from SSG. "Ethril, you have a problem, let us help you...

    Mob Pathing is *****

    I've seen it happen once in the past. It's really weird though. Hirelings are, more often than not, doing the same thing. I brought in Frogo for doors and chests and he just stares at me like he's never seen a lock before. Then I'll got 3 rooms away and he's still staring at the door I...

    Ah, I misread and thought you meant that your last paste was what was copied immediately previous to what you were trying to copy.

    New Bug - horrid/unplayable lag sets in (seemingly out of nowhere)

    That's definitely the more usual way to do things. Handling the numbers client-side (or, at least without validation) leads to all sorts of issues. Especially if the client and server become out of sync. On a bad connection, the game would be unplayable and not just due to lag. You'd think...

    New Bug - horrid/unplayable lag sets in (seemingly out of nowhere)

    Without seeing the code, or a dev weighing in, it would be speculation to say either way. I suspect that a lot of things that could be handled in the client are probably done at the server level for some reason (such as keeping the client requirements lower). However, a more important reason...

    New Bug - horrid/unplayable lag sets in (seemingly out of nowhere)

    As a software engineer of over 25 years, I disagree. It would definitely compound matters if free resource limits are already being reached.

    New Bug - horrid/unplayable lag sets in (seemingly out of nowhere)

    It wouldn't be completely insignificant. All sources of resource creep magnify each other. So, reducing any of them would yield an improvement.

    New Bug - horrid/unplayable lag sets in (seemingly out of nowhere)

    That's a good point and tracking those things as well as firing off events, I suspect, would use a considerable amount of resources (even if it is a small overall percentage). I've played a number of other games where, instead of potions that gave extra xp over time, the potion just granted a...

    It's possible, due to lag, that it didn't actually recognize the cut command just like it doesn't recognize that I'm casting spells or pressing WASD.

    Thanks for the update. Would it be possible to give more frequent updates on the forum, Twitter account, or official FB account?

    Theory about lag…

    Yep. Last night, I logged in, entered a quest, couldn't move past the door, tried recalling and couldn't recall for 2 minutes, and logged off. I logged back on later and did some bank management since public areas, wildernesses, and my guild ship seem to be mostly okay. Quests are impossible...
