Like the title says. I'm unsure what's happening here. On 3 servers I have nearly 3 dozen characters collectively. So, is there a limit to how many characters can be transferred to one server, and, if there is, am I expected to buy character slots for going over the limit?

Like many, I sold a cleansing card and got enough shards to be somewhat wasteful. I think my friend had done the same. Otherwise, I wouldn't and don't spend excessive amounts of money on shards. Or anything else I feel is being offered for unreasonable prices.

Loot boxes are less predatory than purchases rerolls. In LB you are at least guaranteed to get something. Rerolls are exactly like slot machines with a far less chance of jackpots.
