Yeah, it sometimes seems like their business model is to make the game as miserable as possible, and then sell us stuff that makes it a little less miserable.
I just don´t care anymore. It seems to me like every named loot has become rare.
I ran the whole Vecna chain a few days ago, 13 quests, one named item. Don´t know if I´m just that unlucky, or if they really lowered the droprates to sell rerolls... but that´s how it usually goes for me.
I think I´ll wait this one out and buy it with points sometime in the future.
Nothing from the collectors or ultimate edition is even remotely worth the added price over the standard one (for me)
I´m in Germany as well, I always had around 200 ms ping on Cormyr...
It´s certainly not unplayable, but not good either.
So this will be a tough decision. My guildmate is from the US and will most likely move the guild to a US server.
Most likely, I´ll move most of my toons with the guild, but...
Also, if it´s a really new character, you most likely only had to spend 28 points on your attributes at character creation. Reincarnating a couple of times will bring that up to 36 points (I think on the 3rd or 4th life).
There are three types of reincarnation (four if you include iconics) and each type will give you a certain past life feat as a bonus for your next lives. All these feats are free and stack up three times.
So in your example, you could do three heroic reincarnations as a Sorcerer and get three...
I was wondering if it´s worth it to invest in tactics feats (tactical training/mastery/combatant/supremacy) ?
Like do they still work in the endgame ? Does it get your DCs high enough ? I think you can get a +20 with these feats. Or is everything in legendary content immune to being tripped or...
I only ever have to log out once. But when I have switched toons a couple of times, it will take a minute oder two.
But hitting the logout button multiple times doesn´t help with that.
So you rather want this to be pay to win ? Where you can straight up spend money to get the best end game gear ?
It is very obvious that a reroll will never give you any guarantee to get what you want. So if you spend a lot of money on it and are unhappy with the result, that´s on you.
Ah yeah, found it.
Which is still curious, as according to the wiki, using the reset lever to reset the puzzle is part of the solution. So I don´t understand the claim that it´s not working...
I´m curious: What lever is the DM lying about ?
Last time I checked, every lever and every floor tile of that puzzle worked as advertised.
Someone already mentioned it: You do realize that the floor tiles and levers move stuff on the ceiling ? So you literally have to look up to solve it.
Ah well ... my Alchemist reached lvl 34 a week or two ago. I kept playing her for a while, but in the end I decided to move on...
Alchemist was kind of fun, did a lot of imbue damage, multi vials are decent for nuking stuff and there are nice utility spells like buffs and melt lock.
Also...
Nah that puzzle is perfectly solvable by logic.
I´m not a big fan of mandatory puzzles, like you can´t complete a quest without solving the puzzle. I usually try to solve puzzles without looking it up on the wiki the first time, maybe 2nd and 3rd time as well. After that, it just takes time...
