    Anyone worried about tomorrow's transfer

I'm going to follow my rule of never playing on release day. Even if that means I may lose a name. If there's one thing SSG is known for other than nerfing things to sell it back to us later, it's when they fail, they do so spectacularly and the recovery is usually worse than the fail.

Be careful so you do not ruin the value of the Monster Manual

What this is is you're taking away things people bought (MM with current bonuses) so you can eventually sell us a different item with those same bonuses. It's exactly the same when you nerf paid enhancement trees/classes/races after they've been out a while and then re-add those same features on...

SSG: Please confirm if there will be Rare Loot Mechanic for "The Chill of Ravenloft"

Oh, it's been decided. Now it's just how to gaslight us into believing it's good for us.

Do you think the bad decisions are from SSG or EG7?

Developers, no. But from the producers and up in SSG, yes. EG7 isn't micromanaging SSG - they are likely setting financial goals/expectations but SSG is making the decisions on how to achieve them. Turbine and SSG have been making these anti-player decisions for decades.

    18 hours and no action

Yes, SSG is petty like that. Chargebacks cost them money* and even if they are at fault, they'll ban you before you can blink. *and if they get enough, the credit processors, ie Visa/MC/Amex, can revoke their account

We have one lfm on Sarlona and it's a ghost

Gotta make the game look busy(-ier than zero LFMs) somehow.

    Game Headed in Positive Direction

A little early for April Fool's day.

The European Union is banning the use of virtual currencies to disguise the price of in-game purchases.

I wonder what, if anything SSG will do with DDO Points (and to a lesser extent astral shards since you can buy cakes with them). Doing nothing really exposes them to potential lawsuits. Granted, DDO is small but LOTRO is much larger. Here's the link...

Another update... another non-fix of the Crit damage augment and helm of the warblade

Shard re-rolls are the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.

    Known Issues?

All 50 of those things would be bugs that benefitted us players.

    Known Issues?

That's because a known issues list would be longer than every single update's release notes combined.

    Red Dungeon Alerts

Instant dungeon alerts simply from mob spawns (as opposed to someone running through the quest dragging mobs behind them) is really just poor/lazy design and testing.

    Issues on Update 72

It wouldn't be an anniversary without SSG reminding us of how often they run around in circles stepping on shovels they've thrown for the ground for almost 2 decades like the Three Stooges instead of actually picking them up when they see them.

New 64bit Servers/thinning the player base

Name Countermeasures (595DPs) 1/account: If you find your name has already been taken by another player, deploy either Chaff or Flares against that player and they must make a random skill check (chaff) or random saving throw (flare). Upon a failed skill check or saving throw, you take the name...

The Producer Letter: What would you like to see?

Plot twist: this year's letter is simply a series of polls asking what we'd like to see in the 2026 letter.

    U71 Lamannia Preview Release Notes

All due respect, but you're gaslighting us.

    Severlin Said In Discord...

That's literally what a community/social media manager is paid for. If it's too much work to monitor them, SSG should have thought about that when they decided to have DDO "Official Twitter" "Official Facebook" "Official Forums" "Offical Discord" etc

    Just have some patience

Apples and oranges. With TR, sure it's repetitive, but you can end up with different builds, classes, small incremental power - the end result is never the same. With Turbine and SSG, the more patience you give them, the more they take and the end result is always the same.

    Just have some patience

There's also a saying: "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" 16 years of patience from me and the results have been exactly the same each time. Now it's time for me to break that cycle.

What is up with all the lag?

I honestly think we're just seeing the result of years and years of taking shortcuts, the cheapest options (servers/data centers), rushing out content, redesigning systems that didn't necessarily need it, patch upon patches instead of actual fixes, or ignoring things that did need fixing before...
