I also don't like the time it takes when you can go several hundred negative and you have to wait many minutes to find out your status. I'd like to see a /questdeath mechanic or some other solution that fixes OP's scenario and also when you don't want to wait 15 minutes for a proper death or a save.

It didn't say max of 70. It said 65-70 which was an estimate of the best times. Many were 90+. Yes, I should have expressed the original post more succinctly. Lesson learned.

Well said, Sook! I am appreciative of the game. It has been one of my favorite games of all time in over 35 years of PC gaming. Yes, it's frustrating, but when we have a fun, challenging group quest, there's nothing that beats that experience. Thanks for the positive reminder to us all.

From my experience trying to run the end quest in Night Revels, it appears to me that Eternity cannot be "cursed" to allow subsequent negative energy attacks from a Pale Master. I would consider this a bug similar to certain creatures (Red Musk Infected) in Sharn's Thralls of the Fungus Lord...

The 65-70 is my best time, with many being 75-90, thus an informal average of 80.

I hate to say it, but prime-time hours need much more improvement. Currently on Shadowdale @ 1:00 P.M. PST, the game is unplayable. A short quest that takes about 8 mins to complete took over 28. That's 72% of the time spent lagging. A constant supply (8+ weeks) of sovereign pots still doesn't...

It was the last quest of the night for us anyway, but I would have quit if it had continued.

For us, lag was pretty minimal on Shadowdale last night (10/2/25) until about 6:30 PST when we went into White Plume. Quest was constant long lags and took twice as long as normal.

Thanks. I've played stormsinger and liked it quite a bit. A well-geared stormsinger in our guild was not able to break 60s on the challenge so was surprised on the ~35s. Nice.

I'm curious since I haven't played a chaosmancer, but I've played a Stormsinger. Did the chaosmancer portion give you better DPS or was it all stormsinger abilities, debuffs, vulnerability, etc.?
