To me, Sharn is the worst with flagging. I don't play them often enough to know which quests you have to do first. When I see them on an lfm I never know if I can join or not.
I wish ssg would remove most flagging quests in the game since TR'ing plays such an important role in ddo. Does the...
How about losing xp everytime you died. So we would finish a run of Von 5 and 6 with less xp than we started with after completion.
If we actually beat Velah of course lol
I just wish you could turn it off completely. It's annoying whenever you complete a dungeon and open a chest that you can't see anything but dm text sometimes
I'd rather they just sell this stuff for cash. If the bundle was around 40$ i'd consider it, but they know people have thousands and thousands of unused points that you can earn free in the game, which I believe inflates these prices.
Not sure about the dragon mount looking the same. They called this a Drake for a specific reason i'm betting. Also, if they used the same model and just removed the wings, I'm sure the player base would be highly upset if they just spent 40-80 dollars to collect this mount. Who knows though lol...
I agree on this. Almost every other game I play has the option to change colors a bit. Maybe I'm missing some settings somewhere, but certain color blind modes would be awesome. I particularly struggle reading reds when they are next to grays.
By far the worst thing for me to read in game...
Thank you for the response. I will definitely grab the FOM potion this time around. I usually just use all of my remnants for the +1,2,3 to spell power, range, and melee. I think the FOM potion would come in handy through my heroic TR lives though.
So when I unlock account wide favor rewards like favored soul, warforged, and artificer, those will stay on my account forever. What happens if I TR the toon that had the 2500 favor for favored soul. Does it then become locked? I'm curious because even though I've unlocked these three, it still...
The ones yesterday definitely weren't auto following. They were the, stand at the entrance until the quest completes. Then it's a stand and wait game until the guy got all of his toons to the next quest.
Really? That's wild. Maybe it's a server thing then lol.
I just joined one last night and in my head I'm like I don't want to be a jerk and leave, but I also didn't sign up for this haha. I've just been going 1-20 for a bit, and I probably join someone boxxing 5-6 times per life.
I agree...
It may be an unpopular opinion, but I think multi boxing sucks and isn't good for the game. I can't tell you how many times I join a group of 4 people thinking we're going to breeze through a saga, only to find out one guy is controlling all 4 toons. This ends up taking far longer than just...
So im guessing the best way to go about collecting past lives is maybe run 1-20 on each class 1x for the completionist feat. Then run all of the iconics. So go, 15 to 30 until those lives are done. (When you tr into an iconic from 30, does your favor reset and your first time bonuses for each...
I don't believe it's "rigged" but it definitely is not working as intended. You shouldn't fail 8-10 times in a row when you have a 70+ percent chance of succeeding with a booster. Then all of a sudden you remove the booster, and put it back in, and then it succeeds. You can say it's just rng if...
That's what I would imagine. I mean you could look at the who's online tab at any point and I'd bet there's about 200 people on at any given time.
That's the problem though, if there's only 200 people playing and those 200 people are spread out between 32 levels, then there's only a few people...
You can craft even if it's less than 10%. I wait until the chance is at 3% then use a 30 percent boost to get me to 33%.
I think I was gaining 6 or 8 levels every time I hit one of these. With the bonus xp weekend and a good crafting xp pot going. I'm level 251 now, so I still have a ways to go.
I think ddo could benefit from a system like diablo 4 at this stage of the game. However, I'm not sure how easy that would be to implement and if they have the resources for that. However, the close we get to level 40, the more the problem will become apparent.
I miss the old days where once...
I believe this is exactly right. I had the same issue as the OP this weekend. I had a stack of 30 percent boosters, and I continuously failed 5-10 times in a row. Even when it showed I had a 43 ish percent success chance. I then started removing the booster on every try. It took longer, but the...
This is absolutely true, especially for a game like ddo that goes all the way up to legendary and r10 difficulties. I wish ddo would have figured out a way to make people play more alts. I think that would have lessened the amount of power gap between 1st lifers and completionists. I've taken...
