From the Wiki: "Treasure Finding lets you target an unopened chest and twist fate for a chance at better rewards for the entire party. Chests can only be improved in this way one time, and there is a chance of failure based on your Charisma. (There is no special drawback on failure.) Some chests...
CHA because of fail chance on bless, and because I personally have my CHA racial lives done and not WIS Lives. WIS is also valid and will help Will Saves if you feel like you need them. Alternatively can drop Search and Watchful Eye and pick up Diplo and Force of Personality.
War Soul is...
As far as chest blessing goes mechanically, its a /shrug from me. Until SSG decides to publish drop rate information, bonus chances, etc. Having it on the healer just seems to be the place where it would be the least disruptive, outside of maybe a song bard / box. I can affirm I've never...
Yes, you can go dwarf. You would have to give up a feat to take the Dragonmark though, since Humans get an extra one. Probably either Watchful Eye and drop the search investment, or Empower Healing Spell probably. The main reason for Human is the Chest Blessing for Raids, since its harder to get...
It is based on your flat hit points, before any % scaling. The base it would work off of is roughly 2500 on the 80-point version, so 10% vs 15% in the Legendary channel would lose about 140 HP, and taking it as a feat instead of the flat hp would lose about 100 more on top. Pennies when you're...
Hello everyone. I've been the designated Raid Healer in Pestilence (Thelanis) for about a year now. (Picked up off of Hardcore xD). Figured I might as well share something to help my guildies out (and hopefully let me escape from the pigeon hole, lmao). Firstly I'd like to address the mentality...
This would also give people a chance to practice dealing with mechanics that only appear in R+, such as the curses in PN. I've seen a few people get completely shut out since they didn't have curse pots.
I think in terms of design it is better to "build the game players want to play". Meaning finding the things that people are playing, and why they are playing them, then trying to rework things that are being actively avoided with those principles in mind. Instead of nerfing things because they...
Maetrim's Builder is a very helpful resource for planning things out, but its limited to endgame stuff. Sharn is a good starting place for 3 piece bonuses, and Feywild is good filler gear until you really get into the nitty gritty. Currently Isle of Dread gear is the most customizable endgame...
Yes, SD is only worth it if your defenses are based on light armor (or cloth) and evasion. That said, not getting hit is the best defense. Even better if you can prevent the attempt to hit you, preferably via death :P
I'm not specced into DCs, but I'm sure someone could figure out the gear/AP puzzle to make it work. The people I play with generally don't need much aside from my healing and reaction time, and if we have a tank, TS/IF + FvS Power Beacon is my main contribution outside of panic mode situations...
It would be a decent investment if you want to go that way, Timestop is the epic moment t5, and Nullmagic Aura is Core3 but if you just want to dip, then Moon Lance is pretty low. Will take your epic strike though.
My current build goes up EA until Cure Moderate Mass SLA, I favor the current EA...
Magus is decent utility as a tree for healers. Nullmagic Aura is great, though it does require you to be close to melee. Time Stop is your contribution to overall red-name DPS along with Implaccable Foe if you have it. The freeze on Moon Lance can keep something locked down until it is dealt...
I'm just saying if you want to enjoy the game, find a way to enjoy it instead of finding things to complain about. What's insane about that?
Until recently I've soloed through dungeons for years, slogging through lives alone because my static groups bailed and pugs were basically non-existent...
You could just, you know... not play with those people? Find a guild you enjoy running with? Not saying you're wrong per se, but what have you done to increase your own enjoyment of the game in the face of this glaring and obvious problem?
If I had to guess, probably to try and extend quest completion times. Though the real meta is to just not get hit in the first place
Another reason might be to try make SP a relevant constraint on healers, since they can't really nerf how much SP a class gets without also impacting...
