Don't disagree. And to be clear its not that I have an issue with R10 questing as it goes. It's R10 raids that are the issue for me as they're an entirely different beastie, and completely unrepresentative. 👍

Take that up with Ying then. My point is positing arguments about balance based on R10 raiding when virtually nobody plays in that niche, and asking for changes on that basis is nonsense. Keeps happening in these debates. Never makes sense. Or should every build be R10 raid capable? Just nonsense.

Nope. R10 is fine. R10 raiding isn't (Use LH as your yardstick if it's just as valid). It's wholly unrepresentative and for balancing arguments is nonsense. Gidddyup! 👍

Just gonna add this again, as clearly it needs restating: Any balance argument posited on the basis of wanting to push high R raids is a nonsense. No ifs, no buts. Nonsense. If you want to push high R raids, fine, build for it. There are clearly folks who can and do just that, and fair play...

Why? They'd still have access to T5s in their respective classes, many of which would be better too if this paradigm was followed.

Beef up class trees in general, particularly the weaker ones. Tone down universal trees in general, particularly the stronger ones - I'd remove all T5s from universal trees for starters, make them no more useful than racial trees. 👍

Don't disagree with the logic. Argued it for ages. Not seeing 80% ranged in groups in running at cap though, and I run pretty much exclusively at cap.

Doubt it's really 80%, and if so all they're going to get hard nerf batted soon with the sledgehammer, so I wouldn't worry about it, unless you're one of said 80% playing ran... Oh, wait! 😮

Cheers - one place I do use it is in the Threats raid, whilst just outside the arena waiting on the phylactery to be destroyed. Usually find I can rage and wait 30s to then apply the restoration scroll for an extra 1400hp before diving in.👍
