Lesser Restoration is a level 2 druid spell. SPs aren't an issue with Essence of the Shrike. Extend Rage Enhancements from Shifter and barbarian apply to Rage of the Beast. Also the Shifter version of Maul is on a separate cooldown from the druid one.
