I thinks some take the lore way to serious and I for one am glad with the less restrictions that 5e give us. Nothing wrong with a Duergar FvS, Alchemist or Druid.

Hmn, looks like I'm mixing up iconic classes and archetypes. The spellslinger is an archetype. Both Barbarian and Wizard have been covered as a class by iconics (razor claw shifter and deep gnome.) Artificer, alchemist, favored soul and druid have not been covered so far by iconics. That said...

When +10 stats on rings was a thing while the mere mortals we're lucky to have a +4. Never bothered with farming that one though.
