We have 91 ED pts at lvl36, and lvl37-40 will bring 4pts/lvl = 107 pts. (perhaps SSG will add a couple more by some means or another) But sticking with 107 atm, and assuming 41pts on main, that's 33pts each on 2nd and 3rd trees. That does seem like too many points for what's currently available...

The essence is to boost the most under-performing styles, and slightly nerf the meta; balancing the game (more or less) in carefully measured increments, so that the most people possible can indulge their creativity and fantasy. More balance = more flavor and fun.

Can anyone say what the "any end chest" drop rate for artifacts is? I just ran a full saga using shard rerolls and didn't see a single artifact.
