How will the rules for no xp potions, outside gear, and openers and such be enforced? I'm interested but I don't want to end up competing against someone who slips something under the radar.
Be sure to support the practical solutions put forth by others like this one so devs can know a clear path to dealing with inventory issues while getting rid of the reincarnation cache.

It's such a shame that the majority of players silently quit already because of this. And now due to survivorship bias when we go to the forums to ask for improvement we get annoying comments from the remaining population where there's a disproportionate population of players who were able to...
I guess I was thinking of dungeon finder. In any case, it is a gateway into having third party software that could put users at risk if the creators have bad actors or security vulnerabilities. (Not to derail the conversation, but some of the plugins are also very questionable in terms of...
It's so crazy that the game is in a state where people are giving their passwords to third party software to manage their inventory. You'd think it'd be something they want to fix even from a security standpoint.
I would like to see some adjustments that reduces the need for people to react so strongly to summons. It's one thing when enemy positioning and such is crucial, but when it's just taking aggression where the tank may or may not have gotten it if they were on top of things summons are usually...
I'm in absolute agreement and have exactly the same issues. I have stopped playing raids because of this, I am currently struggling to get back into the game after a break because of this.
I think the best way to handle inventory expansion is how it was proposed in this post. (TLDR: make an...
It's about the time it takes to organize again after a reincarnation. Sometimes when I'm in the flow it can be not too bad; the recent increases in bank space made it a lot more tolerable as it made it where I don't have an extra step of temporarily shipping my gear off to alts (and nowadays...
Point of clarification-- progression across characters would add up. Though I suppose special consideration may be necessary if you have say 12 past-lives of a particular life across all your characters.
As for the developing alts and the challenges associated with not having the past-lives is...
I appreciate the constructive feedback. The character would behave as if they had those past-lives, so the reduced experience required aspect would effectively turn into an server/account thing as opposed to a character based issue. (This could make existing characters exp and level mismatch...
I can dig the limited application approach. It would make the sense of character progression as opposed to account progression stronger. For me the biggest aspect is feeling like any time spent playing on alt characters is a waste of time in terms of progression.
There is no need to be so rude. So your argument is that players who have triple completionist will run out of things to do as each individual character can no longer get progression beyond reaper points and gear? I suppose it is something to consider as a large portion of the player base has...
The amount of time needed to invest in past-lives and the difference it makes in gameplay to have a lot of them is very significant. While there may be a few outliers, this usually means alternative characters on someone's account rarely get played aside from the occasional special case use such...
Major issue, core end game items like Raellia become unviable for dexterity based builds due to the removal of dexterity to hit and damage on them. Some unique items like Raellia, despite being a dagger or otherwise categorized as a finessable weapon, do not have dexterity to damage. This needs...
I think essentially getting rid of max caster levels would mostly bring things into balance. Aside from limiting the usefulness of a caster's strongest abilities, it's an unintuitive concept that only serves to double down on limiting cool lower level spells which have worse scaling to begin with.
