I wonder if that is what the Dev's are going for though. -10 damage is not much if you are doing 200HP damage. I think they want 50% DR not 5%. Thats kind of why I think they would be better to focus on making those monsters that have iconic damage reductions just vulnerable to the thing that...
why not? or make them vulnerable to fire too....why should they be easier to kill with something like cold or sonic damage for example....they are furry after all.
Edit: I'm not saying they should be "harder to kill with spells" I'm saying they should be EASIER to kill with silver. I would not...
That's not quite what they are doing. Under the hood they are taking an overly complex system, that can be handled by other systems that are already in the game and are simpler for new platyers to understand, and tweeking it so it works differently but becomes even more complex. I know people...
It may not be possible but the simplest way to handle DR seems to be to make the monster vulnerable to the thing its mean to be vulnerable to e.g. silver for werewolves, cold iron for fey etc. (just as many monsters take extra damage from the thing they are vulnerable to already e.g. Ice mephits...
Using a universal enhancment tree means that you can "cure" being undead just by paying some gold. In otherwords what you are getting isn't an "undead tree" its a series of numerical buffs and de-buffs that are aplied to a computer game sprite. Maybe thats fine but I'd prefer DDO tries to...
Two of my friends still argue years after one lent the other some money to get into a night club with him. My other friend had spent it all on beer before they ever got to the club....just saying, if you want to get your friends to play DDO with you, then giving Cash may not be the best idea ;)🤣
As the title says, since the update yesterday I am getting 5-10 second spikes of lag with only 15-20 seconds of normal play in between. Has anyone else seen this? The game is unplayable for me as it is at the moment.
I made an Arcane Trickster 9/Wizard 9/Favoured Soul 2. I haven't checked if the prepared spells share a cooldown but I do find it difficult to get off my MM SLA (AT Core 1), MM SLA (AM Core 1), Chain Missile SLA (AT Core 2), Chain Missile (AM Core 3), and MM, Chain Missile and Force Missile from...
If you made the imbues scale off of the higher of 200% Ranged power or 100/75% Spellpower and allowed threat reduction to affect them that would probably be enough to make the AA very playable.
I jumped on again tonight (maybe 20-21:00hrs) and, I while I was getting jumps in the latency/ping from the mid 20s up to 150+s and then back down, what is most noticeable is that, about once a minute, everything freezes up for a few seconds. I'm not seeing the rubber banding you often get with...
Generally things where OK until after the fix on wednesday. I few lag spikes but nothing too bad. I mean, the 64 bit server has been noticibly worse than Cannith ever was for me (maybe becuse I was playing of peak in relation to EST) but it was OK until yesterday..
I'm not sure what to screen shot to be honest as nothing happens when I try to use plant growth. I get a casting animation but no message saying I am the wrong type (When I cast it on my human form I get an "immune" message), no icon to say the spell is applied, no change to stats, nothing. A...
It feels like the warlock pacts need a bit of revision. If SSG now thinks it is OK to have an alignment based pact damage wouldn't it actually make more sense for some of the other packts to have alignment based damage? Abyssal or great old one would make sense as evil and chaos respectivly...
Is there any way to make rust spells damage anything other than constructs. I'm thinking of something that would make anything that isn't a construst vulerable to rust damage?
