20th Anniversary Requests

Hey SSG.

I know I don't always agree with the way you do things, but I cannot deny that your game has brought me years of joy, new friends, and has been a great experience overall. Very few games make it to 20 years of active development, and I want to congratulate your team for getting there and beyond. 20 years is a humongous achievement and I want you to celebrate it!

As part of this celebration, I really hope you can consider releasing some of the most requested features. Namely blue & black reaper wings (behind whatever grind wall you see as appropriate), and a modernized legendary Devils of Shavarath. Let @Torc really show off what he can do in a raid.

It's like 2 months away... If you really want them to develop your requests you have to give them an early heads up. Things they want to do for 20th anniversary are in development already.

I agree completely. No reaper stuff plz, and I am SO tired of wings. Enough of the wings. Give us a really cool mount or maybe a raiders box with the raids the other box does not give so I can get a Quiver of Alacrity since I never get a chance to run that raid and probably never will.

if we're doing requests I would like the following...which I don;t think are unreasonable:

- deathward augment
- ghost-touch augment
- lvl1 haste clickie trinket, 5 charges
- teleport clickie trinket, 5 charges (works the same as teleport spell)
- Greater sunflask whose damage correlates to force SP (maybe 10HP damage per 1 force SP)
- Actually...the devs COULD add force damage to all bows (xbow and robin hood thingie, maybe 10HP per 1 force SP) to counteract the speed loss

Im tired of the excessive hamster wheel of chasing new cosmetics every few months, would rather get some awesome augments or perma hirlings or so usable armor or weaponsfor heroic and epic to help level and use until you can grind out endgame content lol

Requesting different reaper wing colours are of course for fan service more than anything. Also possibly the easiest thing that SSG could implement.

1 per account, BTC custom gold seal 'level-able' hireling. When they get enough exp, you can choose to level them and their new class, but the rest is handled by the game.

The easiest things are usually cosmetics; Examples include a 20th anniversary cloak or armor set. Maybe a hooded cloak?

Personally, I would prefer a completely free-to-play model, similar to GW2 or ESO; Get people INTO the game first, then heavily promote the DDO store.

I think this post exposes the elephant in the room; after 2 decades of loyalty, simple cosmetics are unacceptable. UNLESS they are only specifically given out to those of us with 20 years of loyalty. But if the veterans are given the same rewards as the newbie FTP's, there will be hell to pay.

I felt the same way when they offered 'footprints' as a non-hardcore reward.

When everyone leaves footprints, you have no idea which toon really knows what they're doing .....
