64-bit server Preview coming Monday 9/30

Greetings! I have some good news to share today: We will be conducting a test of a new 64-bit game server next Monday, September 30th, from 11am Eastern until Tuesday, October 1st, 11am Eastern. Additionally there will be a 64-bit Stress test event with the game Developers from 7pm - 10pm Eastern.

During this special Preview we'll be asking as many players as possible to log onto the 64-bit server to engage in heavy performance activities such as raids, so that we can gather important diagnostics data about the new hardware. Access to this server will happen through the normal Lamannia game launcher. Stay tuned for more detailed instructions that will be posted to the Lamannia forums about how to participate.

There will be a regular Lamannia preview on the normal Lamannia game world this week. It's a great opportunity to get your Lamannia game client patched up before Monday's Special 64-bit Preview and to try out some content on the existing 32-bit Lamanna server, such as the new Myth Drannor Raid, to get a feel for how Raids behave on the current hardware before trying it on the new hardware Monday.

That is a very narrow window to test it out. I would have expected a slightly longer window with a couple of short windows in that time where everyone would be encouraged to pile on at the same time. I hope you can get enough players in that 24 hours to get the data you need.

Awesome, great plan here to get the first peak at the raid on the new server test. Lots of end game players will show up for the test to get raid ready for live, who will be the first to complete and who will push raid it the highest??

This stress test is open to all accounts, and character copy will be available. When Cormyr arrives as a regular game launcher option it'll be open to VIPs and no character transfer to the server will be available.

My main is currently in a Iconic life and will not be at cap, but can will I have the option to "level up" in the dojo.
