A couple things to check just for the heck of it:
Make sure your display adapter is picked in the launcher settings.
There was an audio crash bug with raptor sound files at one point. I doubt the audio from the video playing is crashing things, but you might as well try the same fix method for the raptor sound crash to see if it helps.

If you have the audio crash bug, I'd appreciate it you could check this setting on your computer in your control panel>sound>your audio output>properties>advanced tabs. See if you're at 16bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality) and if so change it to 16bit, 48000 Hz (DVD quality). If your game is already running, reboot it. See if it still crashes from the typical quests/locations that are bugged with audio (Dread, Smash & Burn, etc.). I don't know if this will or won't help any given setup, just testing/passing along a potential solution.
If you're already running at 16bit, 48000 Hz (DVD quality) and crashing, say so here. If it stops your crashing or doesn't stop your crashing, post with your results. Thanks.
