A point of interest...

...to me anyway, I have seen a number of builds of late where in the middle of a melee all of a sudden there is what looks like a mass phantasm effect and lots of greeblies collapse, dead. I have been playing for quite some years but have only seen this effect recently. Is it something to do with DD? or a spell that I have not seen before. Thank you all in advance.
