A toggle for Dragon Lord ground circle

As title: I can't stand it anymore.

I can't see my feet while doing Project Nemesis. I cannot see the floor when I need it.

It's too big and flashy to ignore, and it forces you to change your entire cosmetic matching. There are some players who hate with passion the forced visuals on a game where you are supposed to create the skin you like.

Please, devs, a toggle will make happy a lot of players.

I'd love to have a toggle for all the "other" players cosmetic pets and wings that end up becoming major a hindrance to simply being able to see / hear whats going on at any given moment. Mind you, its not that their direct impact on the game is significant I'm sure, but its about focus.

With all this clutter (especially in raids or small corridors) I literally can not see / or hear anything going on until the party members in-front of me have died. That being said, if it were not for tab-targeting, situations would quickly become unplayable.

I can see it being done for the player with said aura, but you can't be given an option to turn off someone else's cosmetics.
Because part of the reason people get cosmetics is to show them off, and the expectation that they'll be able to do so.

But, yeah, an option to turn off all player overlays would be sweet. Eldritch Knights, Alchemists, Apotheosis-using Sorcerers, etc.
All of these certainly have at least SOME members that dislike the extra clutter on their screens.

I'm all for the cosmetic being a toggle you get at level 1 dragon lord.

It gets unbearable at higher levels of Dragon Lord. At low level splashes (5) it's fine though.

This was something brought up in lamm testing.
Exalted Angel's offensive aura also has the same problem.

It actually gets eye-straining after a while.

I've been advocating for this since Day 1 of DL. Also, before that with the overhead nonsense.

I don't want others that enjoy it to lose it. Just give me the ability to toggle it off on my character. PLEASE.

Bump this.

Please, some player cannot stand the dragon lord circle, ruinning coffers and other paid cosmetics.

Include the machrotecnic visual drives, EK, and all the like. We want to control our skins, just hating this forced visuals.

I think it's cool.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest. I can see whatever I need to just fine.

Dev time could be better used elsewhere (fixing ladders, anyone?), as far as I'm concerned.

Then this thread is not for you.

No one is advocating for the Devs to take it away, we want a toggle so we can enjoy the game too.

Don't you have a rock to be crawling under? And trust me, YOU are no John Galt.

You're advocating for a Dev to spend time on this toggle.

As I said, Dev time could be better spent elsewhere.

I am advocating for Dev time to be spent making the game better for ALL their customers. Adding toggles allows customers to improve their gaming experience and is well spent Dev time and money. This toggle makes EVERYONE happy. No one is suggesting the Devs remove the ground effects for you or anyone else. Those that enjoy the ground effects can keep them toggled on. No harm, No foul.

Which would you prefer; people being happy (because they can play and enjoy the game their way) & spending money on the game (which helps to keep the lights on and the Devs employed) or people quitting the game (because this simple fix was not done)?

This is true for everyone.

I can't get how people like to wear a strong themed Coffer then look like your feet are entangled in christmas tree wire 🤯

I've asked for a toggle or to make it less visually from the release... The base circle is fine but when you level it up and the circle gets bigger it's just way too much!

The graphics & animation for it are terrible. It's a real 'Homer's webpage' design, and everything about it is badly thought out and way over the top.

And many other effects in game are the same OTT with poor design, which just look a total visual mess with no art direction.

It could be such a lovely, elegant and subtle design with animation to match if it was a partial delicate glow trail that only hinted it as it went around.
