ok reached 20. Got 1200 or so favor. It says if i reincarnate i lose all my favor. So do i lose all the house feats i have earned? Are all my quests reset to 0?
Should i just buy the 32pt build b4 i reincarnate..if my favor resets i wont ever be able to unlock 1750. Any laywers out there who can read the fine print.?

Reincarnation causes loss of all favor. Loss of unlocked bank spaces Hound Kundarak and Coin Lords. Loss of all hit point favor rewards.

You will keep unlocked favor enhancement trees.

Horizon Walker - Gatekeeper - 400 favor
Inquisitive - Sharn City Council - 225 favor
Feydark Illusionist - The Summer Court - 135 Favor
Vistani Knife Fighter - Keepers of the Feather - 180 Favor
Harper Agent - The Harpers - 310 Favor - Account wide I think

You will keep unlocked classes and races such as Warforged 400 favor, Favored Soul 2500 favor, Vet Status 1 - 1000 favor, Vet Status 2 - 3000 favor Champion 32 pt build - 1750 favor, Artificer class House Cannith Favor - 150

Answer to op is: yes you reset to a new character +2 build points and 1 past life either class or racial. You keep the unlocked enhancement trees/races and progression in your server/account wide monster manuals. You do not need to buy the 32 pt unlock for that character. You will automatically get the 32 point build + 2 more build points for a total of 34 build points when you do any true reincarnation, heroic or racial.

The 32 point build unlock is for that character only.

True reincarnation (heroic, iconic & racial) are the full reset, start at level 1 again one that yes, resets all your favour. As stated above, you lose all the benefits of the favour feats but keep the enhancement trees you've unlocked on that character, assuming you haven't bought them in the store or via an expansion which is a permanent account-wide unlock. You also retain any tomes you've used, though their benefits will be added progressively as you level.

Lesser reincarnation is the rebuild-type (minor gripe, people call it an epic TR, but it's really a reset of the epic levels & an LR for the heroic, you don't lose favour etc), you retain everything but just get to reallocate all your stats & appearance, but not gender, race or alignment. With a + heart, you can change classes a certain number of times, subject to the usual character alignment restrictions & you're not allowed to have more than 3 total classes at any point in the process (it's complicated but explained in the wiki, but this is why the +20 hearts also usually come bundled with a free +5, so you can use the +5 first to switch out the minor splash class completely then you have more leeway when doing the +20)

Once you unlock 32point builds (via store or favour unlock), a 28 point build character will be freely upgraded to a 32point build if you perform an LR - if you do a TR, it'll jump straight to 34points (the 32 point upgrade just for that character plus the extra +2 from the 1st TR). If you've used tomes then the benefits will apply through the levelling process too, meaning an easier time meeting feat prerequisites vs. 1st time around & more skill points if you've used an INT tome.

ok thx..not really in a hurry to reincarnate..just not sure i want to grind all the back up unnecesarily. Will prob purchase 32pt build. Prob wont be till next month. I thought it better to do at 20. leveling to 20 should be quicker than leveling to 32.

Epic/legendary quest's typically give more xp. At the least you should level to 30 and do a epic reincarnation then a heroic or racial tr. While leveling in Epics you will or should do the older eberron epic quests for tokens of the twelve. 20 tokens will get you a heart to reincarnate. By trading with Lahar in the Twelve.
You will need commendations of valor (4200) or Heart seeds Both which are awarded as end rewards in epics. Heart seeds only when level 30 or above. Which you need 42 heart seed to buy a epic or iconic heart. 2 are awarded as a end reward. You can also trade in coms for a heart seed at 100 to 1. Clicking on coms or seeds will open a window to trade.

If you don't want to grind unnecessarily, you should go to 32. You're thinking about TRing, which means you're thinking about building an individual character's power. You'll eventually realize that Epic Reincarnations, Legendary Reaper, and gear are all part of that. And when that realization hits, you'll kick yourself for skipping a bunch of easy access to all three.
Also, anyone telling you that epic levelling is hard, just doesn't know how to do it. Epic levelling is a lot easier than Heroic levelling, and has the bonus of saving you real life money. Once you hit 20, setup your epic destinies, open the adventure compendium, sort by Epic difficulty, scroll down to the level 20 quests and start working your way up the list. There's 7 sagas on the way up which translates to either Skill Tomes (Which also increases character power), or XP. If you're not feeling reaper difficulty, dial it back to Epic Hard. Eventually you'll get your feet under you and can start tackling EE and then ER1.

Now that you are L20, you can easily go back and crush low-level content for favor. Won't be much of a challenge, but the benefits of hitting those higher favor goals may be worth it (ymmv). Esp 1,750 favor for a free +2 Tome before you TR, which also gives you 32 pts builds for your entire account (on that server) for FREE.


However, if you are F2P and can't open Elite, admittedly, that can be a pain. You'd have to either 1) find someone who is willing to stand as Opener for you (not hard to do, ask around your Guild maybe?*), or 2) either find a "Favor Cleanup" LFM, or start one yourself. ("Favor Cleanup" is exactly that, going back and hitting quests that were skipped just for Favor, no/low xp.)

Also, you do understand that your reincarnated character will be a 34 pt build next (2nd) life, right? And then 36 ever life after that (3rd ++).
