Acid Reflux Sorcerer: Breathe Acid, because why not?

I've theorycrafted the existence of this build back in June '24, but until now I've not actually tried getting into Epics and Legendary with it. The intend was to make a Free 2 Play, First Life, Solo build that is easy to learn and maintain. While it benefits massively from having VIP as well as some of the adventures/expansions (particularly Borderlands & Feywild), it's still functional without them.

In the initial test on Argonessen, I've made it to Level 14 entirely as F2P. While finding gear was a lot more restricted, it was still possible to play and often even Solo quests. Now with Cormyr, I retried the build as lag-core, and it's reached Level 28. Except for Sharn, nothing has been an issue so far. Most of the time I still ran around with gear from 10+ levels ago.

Pros:
  • First Life & Free 2 Play compatible
  • Glass Cannon: High Damage, near infinite spell points.
  • Technically can "solo" Elite and Reaper 1 with a Healbot hireling attached.
Cons:
  • Glass Cannon: Very often dies in one or two hits, even with maxed defenses.
  • Acid reliant: No ability to strip Acid immunity until well into the late 10s.
  • Gear reliant: May require farming gear to stay alive.

Why pick up SWF at level 3? Is it just for the combat bonus to HP? Why pick up at such a low level when the HP bonus is very small?
It's for the HP bonus which scales with level. You don't have to pick it (treat it as a Free Space), but having it does make you a bit less Glass-y.
