Acute Delirium bug ?

Soloing this on Normal with my new Artificer.

I got all the beds and 5 of the bookshelves assembled, but the last bookshelf gets to the door of the final corridor to the laundry assembly point ( or sometimes halfway down that corridor ) and just vanishes, snapping back to its start point.

Any workaround ?

Even after they are broken by attacks, they sometime move a distance before actually disappearing. Make sure to haste them and as an artificer you can use repair spells on them to "Heal" them.

But I had definitely cleared everything out of the way - and I "escorted" it to the empty corridor at least 10 times.
You can watch it bobbing down the corridor with nothing attacking it and then 'pop', it's gone. Or at the door - AFAIK it made it halfway down the corridor two or three times, the rest of the time if vanished at the doorway - still with no enemies in sight.
