All TR hearts should be available from heart seeds

The very very old token system should be augmented by allowing heroic and racial true hearts to be purchased with heart seeds. Having to farm tokens while I have over 1200 heart seeds in the bank is infurating. It not as if I am not playing the game, but now I have to run low epic content over and over and over again. THIS IS NOT FUN. And don't even suggest I should pay $15 a pop for hearts, I am already VIP. Being able to use seeds for True hearts of wood and blood should be a VIP perk.

Wouldnt you be picking up 10 or 12 tokens or more from the early epic levels?

BOB takes 3 min (including the ride), LOD takes 6 min, VON 2 takes 7 min, VON 3 takes 9 minutes (including the ride).

If you dont want to ransack BOB (30 min total) you instead do the above twice and thats 50 min to get the tokens.

If done instead of waiting around for groups to form it takes zero extra time.

Using a capped toon, I do a von 3 run a day or every 2 days. It supplies me with enough tokens to RTR regularly.

Agree. While Von3 with a full party is more than enough tokens to TR in about 15min (2 runs, 7-8 minutes per run, ~15 tokens per run), if running solo it's a bit silly to have to go back to run a significant amount of lower level content. People not running 4,5,6 accounts shouldn't be penalized more than they are already.

In particular it discourages people running eveningstar stuff, as those don't provide tokens.

Heck, even the epic quests IN THE TWELVE don't have tokens OF THE TWELVE. It's like they just forgot about this game mechanic at some point, or are just trying to sell more hearts? Either way, heart seeds should be more flexible in their usage. Comms as well.

Its less than an hour to solo get the tokens you'd need.

are you soloing these quests in these times? or are these times for capped characters just curious cos it sometimes takes me 3 minutes or more to kill the spiders in VON 2 to get the last piece needed.

Soloing with characters at cap. If youre at 20 and just wanting to TR its going to take a fair bit longer.

Ive found the quickest route is to go for the beholder on the way to the maze to get the 1st piece, do the maze and get the 2nd piece, jump down to the spiders and up the ladder to the 3rd piece, then see if you can jump/leap beyond the beholder below the spider area so you dont have to fight it. Go across the windy bridge and kill that beholder and the hounds then up the ladder and run around the back of the arcane ooze area and jump up without fighting them and cross the windy area to the last piece.

For VON 3 if you skip all the optionals it saves at least a couple of minutes.

Heart Seeds did not exist until later [Old Forum]. Commendations of Valor were going to replace tokens for buying hearts. While Heart Seeds are easy to farm and CoVs are not too bad with our current powercreep and level cap, at the time this was proposed faming CoVs would have been insanely worse to farm than Tokens to the point that buying them in the store would have been the only realistic option. - The original Lamannia build only gave CoVs from epic saga rewards and in quantities lower than what we get from quests.

Well, you're very forgetful, because that's not what happened. Read the links Personman sent you, see if you can refresh your memory.

And you can now thank all of us who protested that system, because getting the hearts would have involved a grind waay longer than the current one xD.

Because the quests I've only run hundreds of times are still more fun than the ones I've run millions of times.
