Removed my payment info when the first instance popped up. Would be nice to hear from the handful of people this happened to, to see if there was any positive resolution. The ones I've seen said SSG didn't help at all, but I'm curious if their bank was able to refund them and they had their DDO account working fine after.

Questions
Did this happen today on Saturday? Did you receive any emails about the purchases? If so, roughly what time did it happen?
When did you last log into DDO? Hours ago before it happened? A day ago? How long ago helps us theorise the method of attack that got them to your account.
Was your account a Turbine or Codemasters refugee? (From Europe servers)
Have you checked whether your account details email may have been impacted by the data breach a while back? Account and Passwords were stolen back then.
When was the last time you changed your password? Did you ever chnge it since the data breaches?
Is your account email and password identical to somewhere else that you might use it? Eg. Amazon?

Note, that if you account was locked out, then in most cases that's more likely an actual access rather than the suspected server falling over and losing credentials issue. But the timing is always interesting to see when it happens.

1) It happened Friday, ~2:30pm according to the emails I received.
2) I'd logged in about a week ago.
3) 20 year old account, so probably!
4) I didn't check that.
5) ...20 years ago. So, no.
6) No idea! It's been 20 years.

Also, there was another $200 charge I'd missed, so $1400 total.

If I could ask Bramble, has there been any resolution on your ticket? I am dealing with the same thing happening last Friday as well.
