Are you afraid? of starting quests without the party leader present?

I'm afraid....

I'm afraid too, and I'm a fourth generation American: nowadays I'm getting to the point of being afraid of everyone as societal norms are being destroyed.

On the plus side...I'm pretty sure Bowie never messed with your monster manuals. :)

I promise I'll give this a break eventually. It's just that it's so much FUN!!! (and I think (pretty sure) you agree, done in good taste).

I was just trying to be silly here, and remembered this one since I recently watched Berlin Station.
Same here ,to a point, societal norms have gotten worse than they were, but... I walk 10 miles (5 twice a day) around my neighborhoods with nothing but an old mp3 with FM radio and I feel just fine about the vast majority of people I run into.

-edit-
Of course it does help that I am 6'2" and 240# and only walk, instead of run, because I have an artificial ankle. Outside of when I go to a club and have 5'2" guys trying to start a fight with me to prove themselves to their lady-friend...I usually don't have many issues.

Nah, just as I'll never quit, neither should anyone else, it's starting to get pretty hilarious at this point :)

Nah, just as I'll never quite, neither should anyone else, it's starting to get pretty hilarious at this point :)
Especially since I think only you and I got it the first couple of times...good to see it's gaining traction!

Glad you enjoy it as much as I! :)

Your post lacks any actual value. There was no "frequency suggested" in my post. You must not have ever been on a TR train, where you're knocking out several quests/saga's back to back. It's very understanding to take 2-3 min to go gear when you hit benchmark levels (5/10/15, about the only times I gear per life). Leveling in this game is all about being efficient, if I or another person in group says "Hey, gotta go level/gear/whatever case may be" that should not put a stoppage play on the rest of the party. If you would like to join a TR train and get a past life or two, I'm on Orien. :)
so, you are willing to type pages and pages of responses but not willing to type a simple message like " feel free to start it up, i'll brt " in your party chat ?
... and then wonder if people are 'afraid' to start the quest without you. LMAO

This is a player differentiation issue I think.

If I was in that group and not the leader I'd be buffing once we all entered. In that context it would be rude of me to enter before everybody was present and just take off.

However some players and groups just don't need buffs and are interested only in absolute fastest XP/min and in those cases the players are likely to just zone in and buzzsaw through.

Navigating the player differentiation hurdles can be bewildering at times in PUGs.

Oh look who decided to show up lol. As stated, it's very well assumed if ANYONE is off running an end game errand, to start the next quest (don't finish without them). I will not stop my questing regardless being leader or not, if ONE person needs to go level. However, end of a saga and we're all leveling? Sure, let's take 5, get a drink, use the head, grab a snack, whatever. I guess context clues and reading the room are not strong points here. ;)

I usually wait for the party leader to start. Most will tell you to start if they're going to be a min or more, like if they have to hit the bank or something. Some people run quests differently AND might get annoyed if you blow through it and they miss out on a bunch of MM stuff.

Guy puts up post implying some sort of cowardice in and irritation with others because they dang well aren't playing as he likes...

Posts snarky replies to anyone who doesn't think it's necessarily a "them not me" problem...

Then reckons others incapable of reading the room.

Brilliant! ????

Then maybe that assumption is wrong.
I don´t know what you communicated with the group beforehand, but honestly I would interpret "I´ll be right there" as the exact opposite of "go start without me"
