Arty Spontaneous spells of inflict??

So I currently have an level 15 arty with normal spontaneous repair spells, and today I made a new arty to do Fey content with and for some reason he has INFLICT and Repair spells as Spontaneous, (so is this a new thing where we are forced to waste two or more spell slots on Inflict spells, because even when I played a caster arty instead of ranged wpn arty I never never ever used inflict spells.

If I want a dps caster for spell attacks I would go with Druid or Sorc, so having spell slots locked up with inflict spells is annoying as heck. Please tell me this is a bug. As I'm pretty sure no one's going to run out and build an Inflict Arty caster lol. So why the heck would those be made spontaneous?

If there's some way to fix this, please let me know as so far at each lvl two spell slots are taken up with repair and inflict spells.

No waste of a spell slot. You always got both as spontaneous cast. It's like the cleric cures. You wouldn't have that slot at all if you don't have a repair or inflict spell to put into it.
