Thank you, the more I hear about it, the more my heart is moved!
I'm almost about 95.2% determined to reincarnate as a WoodElf+DLord.

I think it's wood elf OR dlord, really

The dlord split really has little use for favored weapons. You won't use Ascendancy, you don't need to use the KotC imbue, so it's really just a few points of hit/dam that you get for being Favored

Welf is still nice for other enhancements and str, but you could go human for the bonus feat or horc or forged too, or tabby for speed

I think the breakdown of this 4.45 MP (250 MP + 95 MP) is Prowess 50 + Sanctified Fervor 25, but I wonder what the rest is?
Ok so a general MP breakdown:

15 Artifact set
15 Profane Set
10 MP Augment
10 Enhanced Bloodrage (raptor neck)
10 PTHF
72 Epic/Legendary Power
55 ED cores
80ish Good Rare filli set up
4 Rem Tome
3 Reaper Cores
20 Arborea
5 Exalted Smite
21 reaper tree
15 Righteous Command
20-25 sanctified fervor swap (depending if pure or split)
4 Dlord Aura (Dlord split only, unless you bring a friend lol)
20 KotC Core 6 and T5 (Pure pally only)
75 Blessed purpose stacks (pure pally only)

So that gives:
359 MP for the Dlord Split before Myth/Reap boosts, Lasting MP pot, and Prowess swap
And
455 MP for Pure Pally (with full stacks) before Myth/Reap boosts, Lasting MP pot, and Prowess swap.

Very clear! I'll try calculating while comparing in Excel according to my character.
Such detailed breakdown is truly invaluable.
Thank you.

Thanks for the better approximation. Using those numbers:

20 Welf Pal with a Falchion: 14-20x3=1.7 crit profile * 5.55 * 1.03 = 9.71

15/5: 14-20x4 = 2.05 * 4.59 = 9.41

So again, a very slight edge to Welf pure Pal will full BP stacks, but the Dlord number is not situational

Also that doesnt factor in Helpless damage bonus, which pure Pal will not be able to produce as consistently as Dlord, and Dlord gets a bonus to

Dlord also doesn’t need a 1:1000 curse to make it work. Depending on how much you value your sanity, that alone might be enough to ignore the slight potential DPS loss lol.

Welf can favor Falchions
Is the description wrong? Or the wiki not updated? Says it’s considered favored only for very specific things and KotC isn’t listed ??‍♂️ did my Welf racials on a warlock I think and never went back so I hav ent taken a close look recently

Nah the tooltip is just incomplete

Its a Favored Weapon for everything that requires a Favored Weapon. I think the only exception is the Child Of feats that the wiki mentions.

DDO code gremlins hard at work I see.

I wonder if the tooltip was from before those feats got reworked. They used to specify exactly which weapons they worked for based on your deity, so just getting the “favored” Flag on a weapon didnt inherently make them work.

in raptor necklace and sanc fervor we trust

Seeing the 'rage' part of 'Enhanced Blood Rage' reminded me of something else I wanted to ask everyone.

I occasionally see Paladin builds that use Rage.
Do people use Rage? I tried acquiring and using Rage with Fury, but found it difficult to utilize due to the post-battle healing being cumbersome, so I gave up on using Rage.

While it's supposed to be used to increase STR or damage, it didn't suit my playstyle, as I mostly play solo, so I ended up quitting.
However, like with the Falchion, I've been debating whether to adjust my playstyle to incorporate the use of Rage.

So yes Rage is good for maximizing your DPS, but as you’ve noticed it has some limitations especially when you’re soloing. For Pally in particular, refreshing Prayer becomes pretty annoying.

In general when talking about rage, you’re deciding between rage or Stalwart/Sacred Defense since those 2 aren’t compatible. Although now with Dlord you might need to pick between rage or Str Trance (I have no idea how the mechanics interact and if you can trance then rage)

The big positives from Rage are:
+10 Str/+4 Con (assuming 4/4 base, a raging strength item swap, and the +3 from the adrenaline line)
1200 Temp HP from a Bloodrage sentient swap
And the ability to use Madstone Clickies for another +2Str/+4Con and +5% Attack Speed. (But obviously you need to have enough of these to make it worthwhile)

Depending on your Race or class split you might get other benefits as well, for example Welf needs to be raging to get that sweet sweet 5% double strike on Falchions.

All that said, if you solo a lot Sacred Defense might be better. I use Defense instead of rage on my main since I need to self heal a lot.
