Bark and the blade hard to find mobs

Missed a single mob in the bark and blade. I'd already finished the end fight (and looted the end chest) and had to double back and search the entire earlier quest locations for this one mob. It was a quell(?) that wasn't visable until I ran over it's location. No indications of where it was, beyond "canyon", and that I was missing the check-off on the quest requirements. It felt pretty tedious to have to re-search the entire quest again for a kill while moving over every piece of terrain trying to get the mob to spawn/pop up.

If you turn off post processing, it's easier to see the mobs. It makes the quest look horrible but it stopped me from missing any mobs this latest run thru.

I find it helpful to keep an eye on your objectives and make sure the counter updates in each area.

It reminds me of Finding Dorris when it first came out; thankfully they patched it to have a better quest advancement design so hopefully they do the same to this quest.
