Veteran status for new characters and TRed characters are a completely different thing, you know.I am a VIP and have enough accumulated favor to unlock L7. WORK FOR IT.
@GramercyRiff because it's an MMO and there are many, many people that have unlocked it already?
Yeah? The first 4 levels go like a fart in a whirlwind. Is it really that bad?!?![]()
Sunny/snowy was the bane of everyone's existence when I first joined in 2009. It was never really explained in the starter tutorials, there as a mass of new players because it just went free to play, and we could not figure out why grouping was failing in the starter area.I skip Korthos Experience (first quest) and go directly to Borderlands to access the bank. Korthos is still accessible. I guess a snowy/sunny side thing could trip up grouping in pocket situations.
Sunny side really doesn't make any sense. They should just keep the snowy side, but allowing entry and exit from the starter area.Sunny/snowy was the bane of everyone's existence when I first joined in 2009. I'm with you! I have zero idea what the purpose of making vet players unable to group with new players was. Even when I started before TR the vet players would still leave Korthos to go run the solo quests in the harbor on new toons to get some coin to buy pots, wands, or whatnots.Sunny side really doesn't make any sense. Yes, it was absurdly overprotective not to let the new players join the veterans. That has seriously damaged the grouping. And besides, the story doesn't make sense in the sunny Kortos. Devs really should leave the snowy Kortos and remove the sunny side, and what does it matter if people leave and reenter the area? People're doing the same thing to return to the sunny Kortos, where the same quests are played.I'm with you! At the very least an in game notice/text/something would have been helpful, even most of the vets didn't know why they coudln't group with friends who hadn't left and come back or new players who were scared off by the warning to not leave the starter area that one npc gives you. LOL I think I played for a month before someone I came into contact figured it out and word started to spread, but that may not have been other peoples' experience, maybe I just hung with a clueless crowd.Yes, it was absurdly overprotective not to let the new players join the veterans. Sunny side doesn't make sense, devs. Leave only one side, and allow the newcomers to have more people to group with.
When u do them x21 to 45 to 65 yesThe first 4 levels go like a fart in a whirlwind. Is it really that bad?!?![]()
My 5cents, I like the change of Korthos from Snowy to Sunny. It an impact of your actions (completing Misery peak).
That said, I agree that having the population on different instances made no sense. Yes, make the same instance but if someone has completed Misery present the Sunny version. Otherwise the Snowy version.
Cheerios
I do. My answer is still the same.Veteran status for new characters and TRed characters are a completely different thing, you know.
So... they ask for something that currently doesn't exist, and your answer is to grind favor to unlock it?I do. My answer is still the same.![]()
