Hi. Casual player. Currently Paladin on 2nd life with tomes (S+6, D+2, C+7, CH+5). Pretty good stack of docents in my bank. Well on my way gathering Feywild legendary sets. I purchased Bladeforged and got build ideas from other threads:
1) The SWF Paladin - Mary (using Shadow Blades/Greater Color Spray) and Strimtom (Dynastic Falcata-CHA for damage and favored). Both dip into Feydark
2) The typical THF build (still looking for something up to date but there's older info on Reddit)
3) TWF builds: Sacred Fist 18 with Monk 1/FVS 1 or similar combo with Vistani<-I have this but no daggers RN.
For pure Paladin, #1 seems to be more up to date, fast attack and I really like the idea of color spray for crowd control. #2 may compensate with glancing blows and more damage plus Bladeforged gets native greatsword bonuses. #3 allows faster running, incinerating wave and punching (plenty of extra hearts in the bank for required LR).
I usually solo or small group and likely stay Bladeforged from here out. I run most quests on Hard/Epic Hard unless group is available. From a "Buttons" perspective, I try to make everything passive except heals, cleaves, buffs and maybe 1-2 crowd control - kaboom things.
From a solo-ability and fun factor, do any of these stand out? Any potential gotchas when building? May try and reincarnate to 15 tonight and start Sharn.
