Best Epic Weapons for leveling

Okay, so I'm grinding through iconic/class past lives. What would be the best weapons to throw filigrees into? Right now I have a full sentient xp SoS, but what would be my next good option, or should I just take 8 kensai in everything?

I've been using a pair of Bone Crushers for the past... 4 years or so? They accept sentience starting at level 18 and have expanded critical threat range. One has filigree for Melee and one has filigree for Casting. Otherwise I have an Epic Storm if I'm doing a ranged-oriented Epic life, or are on a Bard/Stormsinger/Artificer.

Oathblade is not bad. I have one with 8 lots to use until I get B.Sword as favored from Crusader. If it's not doing much I just use a dual-slotted warhammer and switch to IC:slashing when I pick up B.Sword. Then I use E.Templar's or E.Chimera's.

those two,
epic chimeras and epic templars are good and easy to get.

or if im in a build that doesn't use them, i usually just grab a borderlands equivalent and go. dont look back until 29? for a caster stick it has main and insightful which is pretty nice. i generally switch out my offhand while leveling if i have something else, so i dont have to change filirgree, which is usually just +cha, +int, or +wis depending on build requirement. but... honestly i have gone through a few lives with slotted int on a cha build because... it just doesn't seem to matter for epics?

if you are trying to blow through some iconics/ past lives, there are some good "works with everything" builds, like inquis, (which i am sure will still be fine for leveling after changes) same with just putting 8 of kensi into everything. or 5 dragonlord, if you are just going to 30, you will get there, no matter what. Epic storm is great for inquis. i have been bunching up builds, so i try to do a bunch of cha build in a row, then int, then str. which keeps changes to a min.

currently looks like you are doing SOS, so i would look for lives you can knock out that uses that. then switch it up. (epic storm is a great "next" option.

but, like they said, depends on the build, and... more importantly, what you like to play. you only need 1 level of the iconic and then you can make it anything else you want. and if you are just knocking out lives, dont have to worry about taking the 1 level out. i try to weigh out time, vs return. if im doing 1 live, i might not worry about filigree's. but if i know i am running more then a few lives with the same weapon, i love to set something up. like, if you are doing a bunch of melee lives then setting a weapon up with prowess is pretty nice.

what are your next few lives looking like?

Is there a good one handed weapon i can use with dragon disciple? Was thinking about doing knife and orb, but if there's something else I can be centered with, that might be cool, too.

any one of the d10 short swords. lol Feywild Illusionist summoned dual short swords can be pretty fun to play.

Does it needto be BtA? A lot of suggestions here are BtC.

For one handed and BtA, EMG is not too bad, or if folks wish to go Knight’s Training, you can do Oathblade (recommended earlier) or the Drow longsword.
