Could you tell me why this game is dying? just curious. Thanks! I had thought it was getting stronger due to more expansions etcThe server called “play another game” is probably your best bet given the health of this game right now
I'll message you soon. Thank you for your offer.Welcome to gameand yeah Moonsea is great for that timezone/ping.

Nah that's just a grognard's welcome, don't mind them.Could you tell me why this game is dying? just curious. Thanks! I had thought it was getting stronger due to more expansions etc
The game has been "dying" for 15 years, according to the forums. It's end is heralded often.Could you tell me why this game is dying? just curious. Thanks! I had thought it was getting stronger due to more expansions etc
Maybe the game will give me a reason to play again in the next year. But really, I can’t understand why a new player would start in this game sans a hardcore everyone on equal footing standpoint. We have some of our player base that is jaded and very negative. They are pretty much trolls at this point as everything to them SSG does is bad. Ignore them. They have been here since the start and continue to refuse to leave even though the profess hating the game and SSG.
As a certain song goes....haters going to hate.
The vast majority of players enjoy the game, dont post a lot of the forums, and generally have a good time.
DDO continues to endure.
The game is getting stronger. It is probably better than ever right now. If you can afford the buy-in and tolerate being unable to catch up to established players.Could you tell me why this game is dying? just curious. Thanks! I had thought it was getting stronger due to more expansions etc
It funny how you equate somebody starting now....vs veteran players. If you are way better than them...so what...in the end it is about the individual players journey. They are not competing with you or any other player for anything. You seem to misunderstand the basis of the game. It is not PvP but PvE. It is a subtle difference but it is immense. Maybe if you played the game for YOUR enjoyment and stopped worrying about others it wouldnt be so burdensome to you.Maybe the game will give me a reason to play again in the next year. The fun of the game is different for different players. Adding catch-up mechanics does not diminish anyones fun.It funny how you equate somebody starting now....vs veteran players. Seems some people dont understand the fun in the game is not being at the end of what is possible but the journey getting there...and the good friends and times you share during the voyage. Ive met some really amazing people over the years...many whom i call friend. Hope you find the same.
