Bizarre Appearance Armor

I want to revive the great threads left by our predecessors before they vanish into the electronic abyss.

I'm not sure how long I'll be playing DDO, so I want to summarize my old armor while my memory is fresh.
This armor includes pieces collected before Update 14 as well as those acquired recently, but they are still obtainable today.

Let's add some more while we're at it!

Rare Brigandine:
Brigandine is an armor forgotten in the changes of U14.
Its basic appearance is brown leather armor, but there are also rare models of Brigandine such as the following.

You can currently obtain it in Repossession.

Half Plate Armor:
Prior to U14, there existed a rare version of Half Plate Armor with the icon of Full Plate Armor.
Essentially, it combined the body texture of Silkenmail with the chest of Full Plate, with the quantity of Full Plate parts varying depending on the item's level.

You can currently obtain it in Repossession.

Combining the base texture of the Kundarak Delving Suit with Full Plate might be particularly rare, don't you think?

I only have screenshots of a dwarf with hairy legs that look smelly, sorry about that.

Chain Shirt skirt type:
It's a Hauberk-style Chainmail that protects down to the buttocks.
There are several colors available, but all have the same appearance for the Chest part. Skirt type is rare in the current random generator, so some people might like it, but personally, I wish there was a bit more detail.

You can currently obtain it in Repossession.

Plate Armor:
There's a prevalence of Plate Armor with extreme imbalance between left and right, like the Templar's Bastion added in U14.
Is it rare these days to find those with giant Spaulders protecting the neck?

You can currently obtain it in Red Fens(quest reward) & Harbinger of Madness(chain reward).

Tips for Finding Old-Type Armor:
Currently, old-type armor can only be obtained from quests that reward B2A type rewards.
I recommend quests where B2A rewards are given per quest, such as those found in the Marketplace Sharn or Red Fens, rather than quests where rewards are only available through Chain Rewards like WW.

However, note that at lower quest levels, the quantity of parts on the armor decreases, so if you want a complete set of old-type armor, try to find quests at higher levels.

Additionally, it's uncertain whether the Mirror can accurately copy Cosmetic, as not all scenarios have been tested.
Someone please fill in the missing parts.

This four types of old-type armor were successfully copied using Mirror without any issues.
(Has the bug that prevented accurate copying of old-type armor been fixed?)

I'll leave it as a note, although it's a bit off-topic to post about weapons in an armor thread.

While randomly generated Adamantine weapons have blackened blades, they can't be copied with Mirror.
They just turn into plain white weapons.
It's sad that I can't copy this cool golden patterned Sword of Shadow.

By the way, you can't add effects using the Glamered Weapon Aura to the Legendary Sword of Shadow.

I have collected these half-plate suits before they stopped being prolific (old grognard here DDO pre-release founder), because these were cosmetic before cosmetic was in the game.

I can verify that at some point in time, the random half-plate mapping CHANGED to the kundarak delving suit map, and every half-plate suit i owned switched the underlying dress portion to the KDS map, but kept the shoulders they originally had.

Moreover, Cosmetic Mirrors DO conserve the look and can be used to cover real armor.

I recently played a low-level Adventure and spotted a Half-plate armor with the full plate icon, and took a chance on it and got this; but i cant post picture (im too dumb to post as a url) but it looks like above with slight variance to the chest piece (mine has that weird triangle piece on the chin/chest).

At least i verified some things!
