Bow Build for Heroics

Not sure if anyone else does this for bow builds, but I'll do 3 wis and then dark hunter - using the imbues from wis and just upping the imbue dice where I can, and taking the arrow creation from conjure arrows in horizon walker, or go to 5 in wis and conjure fire arrows. Everything else boils down to increasing ranged power and personal defenses and feats. weapon focus, point blank, etc.
Fire Arrows scrolls are pretty cheap for the benefits they give (as long as you remember to refill yourself between quests so you don’t run out in the middle of a fight)

How are you defining "good"? And are you playing solo or in a group?

The OP asked for a "good bow build for levels 1-20".
There really aren't any *good* bow builds for that level range, at least not compared to evo nukers and melee using 2HF or SDK chains.
Leveling in heroics is all about AoE because all SSG seems to know how to design new content with is packs of large trash mobs crammed into every room. Bow builds in heroics are miserably slow due to their lack of good AoE.

As Kimbere alluded to above, bow builds are great single target damage, but don't have access to much AOE damage. Because of this, they can be slower/more painful to level through heroics where the quests tend to feature large groups of monsters. With that said, you will have no trouble completing all the heroic content using any competent bow build.
Strimtom's Acid Arrow is pretty out of date at this point; but it still is a strong build that will get you to level 20 easily. Here is a link to it on the old DDO forum:
