Stormreach – We come to you live from the market square. A group of players from the guild Standing Still Games is currently staging a protest on the Market Bridge, declaring it “closed due to lag.” With names like RubberbandDin and Disconnectus, the group says they’re calling attention to worsening game performance and SSG’s lack of communication.

“We just want to raid without turning into a slideshow,” said one protester. "Instead of complaining, we wanted to take action.”

Supporters say the protest highlights long-standing frustrations, while critics argue it clogs one of the city’s busiest zones. “I respect the message,” said one bypassing rogue, “but I just want to check my mail.”

SSG has not responded, though an invisible dev was reportedly seen rubberbanding near the harbor.

Stormreach — We’re now hours into a growing protest, where members of Standing Still Games and their increasingly creative allies continue their sit in against DDO’s lag issues.

What began as a small demonstration has ballooned into a full-blown traffic jam. Protesters now include Lagasaurus, Helpstepbro I’m Stuck In Lag, and Ladderdotexe, all standing shoulder to shoulder in solidarity.

“Movement is a privilege,” shouted NotResponding, before immediately lagging out.

While SSG remains silent, the message is loud and clear: if the servers won’t move, neither will they.

Actually they all just got stuck on the bridge when the server locked up so they called it a protest.

Mindless One
A much better way to spend your time is to actually play something else. SSG will notice low player count much easier than a bunch of players on a bridge.
