I remember instanced public spaces from maybe 10 years ago or more. You're right, it's magical, like a time warp of some kind.

Ironically if you watched any of the streams or videos or read comments/posts from last night. The marketplace had almost NO lag. Yes, the framerates dropped, but it also helps the lag issue because people arent zerging quests and monsters aren't pathing.

I was still getting 60-70FPS and, ironically, nowhere near as much lag as when in quests.

lag last night was worst since i transferred... best part of that protest ran down the crack of someones leg and ended up as a brown stain on the mattress.

Good Try though- Next up.. DDO Players Pee into the wind. :)
